PMDG 737-800 Set To Release 2025/12/18

Featured Replies

I guess, it will be as usual:

  1. nothing
  2. a picture of a B738 at a gate for 30-45 minutes
  3. a picture of a B738 pushed back for another 30-45 minutes
  4. a picture of a B738 on taxi way for 30 minutes
  5. a picture of a B738 at the runway for 15 minutes
  6. Shop opens
  7. Everyone buys at whatever price is asked (forgetting everything they moaned about earlier)
  8. Everyone waiting for the license server to send that key code which will take up to 1.5 hours as it cannot handle the demand.
  9. Tomorrow, everyone will have their shiny new bird and will be happy.

This time, when they announced 18 DEC 1700z, I knew I will skip those steps and buy it on 19 DEC without any stress, if it is not out until 1900z. I would not be able to take a flight anyhow any later than that, so no need to stay and wait or even purchase it then.

Nevertheless, all the best of luck and patience for those who wait after that.  I have zero problems of being proven wrong if this means you all can enjoy it earlier.

I get 20 coffees for that in Italia

That's pretty good! I would only get about 12.

But all kidding aside, I am sure RSR will regret that loose statement for a long time to come.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Step 8 is no longer valid as licenses are concurrently issued with purchase and installation.  The rest?  Sure, I’ll go there.  Blue skies,

Ah, I was not aware. Glad to get rid of that nasty step! 🙂

Mathijs has posted a picture of it on the runway, with the quote "doing the last tests of some stuff".

Well, they confirm the 60% discount for 2020 owners, so now the question is the actual cost is the question.

I don't expect the msfs24 version to be less expensive than the current msfs version. So aound $75

So with a 60% discount, the upgrade price should be around $30. Maybe more if the msfs24 version is more expensive, but not less.

Coffee is quite expensive in the RSR world.

I only have the -700 with no plans to buy the -800 on any platform. So I guess I can just sit back with my popcorn until February or so.

Because they haven't pre announced the price I can tell that it will be high. Probably as much as a night out with the wife and a good meal. Hmmmm. Not a difficult decision. I'll be buying it.

Me, too.
And there’s always that other PMDG Boeing to enjoy in the meantime 🤙

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie, you legend 😂😂😂

I get a feeling I must be the odd one out - I do like flying airliners in the sim, but the last time I bought a PMDG 737 was in 2011 for FSX... 🤪

Thinking of all the money I've saved over the years, it has to be enough for at least four or five coffees!

Hmmm. My wife or your wife? For my wife the current 375m seems an appropriate fare… ready to swap?

The 737 is the largest thing I fly and I fly it in either the BBJ model or with a C-40 livery. I wish there was a legit Combi base model because the C-40 livery's are a compromise between either painted on cargo door or windows.

I'm not into airline ops, epically wide body.
