December 18, 2025Dec 18 So what Mark1616 has said it’s still the same weather globally set with no visual fronts correct? (because why shouldn’t it be, that limitation and restriction has not gone away by Asobo) just not sure what advantages this has over ActiveSky which I already own—

Default Live weather doesn’t look the best, but at least I can see weather in the distance and decide what to do based on it. Not being able to have more than one type of weather in the same sky is a major immersion killer for me. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
December 18, 2025Dec 18 I honestly don't understand the concept. Isn't the live weather for a time and place "typical" enough to represent the typical weather for said place and time?

December 18, 2025Dec 18 Yeah I've just read the description again and can't fathom what it wants to be, I mean it's essentially a Live Weather product that doesn't use Live Weather just what you'd expect in the area at that time of year....so Live Weather then 😵💫 So it's not really what I require at all, as before I mainly use the default Live Weather. What I'd like is a more Random weather option, that changes weather during the flight so not the same as Presets that are the same all over. So yeah, not sure this product is for me at all. Live weather is not always what people want (some examples given here in this thread), and this add-on provides a solution for just that. Please give the product page a look if you're curious. I thought it seemed quite simple: an injector offering plausible weather for any time of year in any location, that can dynamically adjust weather as you fly between locations. Ah ok so there is a 'Random' weather feature, I still don't understand the need for a 'typical' summers day weather scenario over Live Weather if it happens to be raining....that's the beauty of Live Weather, it's real at that time so that's what it is. I guess some might like that but I really don't think that side of the app is for me, the randomiser though that could be cool, I'll await some reviews 👍 Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
December 19, 2025Dec 19 Well, it's not a lot of money so I went ahead and bought it this morning. Sleek interface, tested Typical weather at Leeds Bradford and sure enough it injected a miserable wet day! In reality its much brighter here today but I guess that proves its working. Only had a few minutes to test but for me the most useful feature is the randomizer which produces nice variations and cos I'm lazy I find that easier to use than configuring my own weather settings. Whether others think its worth paying for that facility remains to be seen but I'm happy enough. A point sample may be very atypical, but the key feature of this product is averaging of many historical samples. December 19, 2025Dec 19 For me this is a tool to use when you don't like the current live weather. dd
