Happy holidays from everyone here at FSS! It's been another great year for us here, with new releases across our line of products. Being the E-Jets, here are some of what we did for this line below:

**This year...**
We released **5** across-the-board news and progress updates. (Read these at

https://discord.com/channels/1049787436340875344/1064471517217439794/1453081937899028592

We released **3** E-Jets updates and patches.
We released **MSFS 2024 compatibility** for the E-Jets.
We released our **final plans and roadmap** for cFMS.

We know it's seemed like a pretty slow year, and frankly, it has. This last year, we have been all-in on the FMS - trying to get it done, to a high standard, as quickly as possible. Though this has led to a bit of a slowdown on the bugfixing side, we think it will be all worth it... right now.

# **The day is here.**

As of today, we are entering stage 4A (of 5) of our final roadmap to v1.0: **Experimental Releases of cFMS.**
This means that we have a functional build of the entirety of cFMS, including LNAV and VNAV path calculation, as well as all of APv2 - LNAV, VNAV, and all other modes. The FMS/AP are also now capable of RNAV approaches. And, for the first time ever, it is stable enough we feel comfortable releasing it to all of you.

*If you don't remember, our full roadmap is here:*
1: Internal cFMS Testing, LNAV-only AP 🟢 Complete
2: Community-involved cFMS testing, LNAV-only AP 🟢  Complete
3: Internal cFMS testing, LNAV and VNAV AP 🟢 Complete
4: Community-involved cFMS testing, LNAV and VNAV AP 🟢 Complete
**New!** 4a: Experimental Releases of cFMS 🔵 Available Now
5: Full Release of cFMS and APv2

**Before you get started, here's some information you need to know:**

1. This is an experimental version. **ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT** will be provided.
2. Please do not post bugs from the experimental in <#1090728482968965180>.
3. Updates may not be announced. Check your installer frequently.
4. Updated FAQ for this experimental may be found in <#1452692468611944584>.
5. Your data from the standard version (like EFB settings and calibration) may not be saved.

**To get started:**
1. Read the information about this version on the [FSS Documentation Hub]

https://docs.flightsim-studio.com/e-jet-series/experimental-version/things-to-know

2. Make sure you have installed and activated the E-Jets via Aerosoft One or Contrail (Marketplace is not supported due to platform limitations).
4. In sim, you may have been activated automatically. If not, paste your key into the window which pops up.
5. If your data did not transfer, reset your EFB as necessary.

Does it means that VNAV works now?

I am planning to purchase this at SOME point... please let me/us know whether you think it's worth it at this time already. Thanks, and Merry Christmas everyone. ☺️

I think I'll pass for now.

I watched LondonController and Chewwy94 stream it, the LNAV and VNAV worked fine. Chewwy had an issue with grabbing the localizer, but that was pilot error he thinks, LondonController was fine.

Nice, this is one I’ve been looking forward to for a while.

They've done such a great job with the 727 that making a 707 would be a natural evolution.

Wow! That was quick. its only taken, what is it now, two years?

Is it worth getting it now after the update? I have been keeping an eye on this particular product for some time but the negative reviews so far and lack of fully functional FMS kept me away. If there is significant improvement then I might consider this.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Still "experimental" i.e. Early Access.

I really avoid FSS like the plague because of this.

I'm struggling with it. There is VNAV under certain circumstances but it doesn't seem to function like any other plane I have. Has anyone made a tutorial?  Maybe it's true to life? It's probably me but I think I'm pushing all the right buttons but possibly not in the right order.😂

I was quite excited to try this but it's going back into the hangar.

Loaded up the E195, was greeted with a green box right on the pilots window telling me that the aircraft was activated.  Great, except I can't get rid of the box.  Then I powered up the aircraft and I can't get the FMC's to power up.  Uninstalled, deleted all WASM files / work folder, reinstalled.  Same deal.

That's enough time wasted on this, I'm going to fly the new Maddog release instead.

It's quite disappointing, I've been really patient with this project but there are just too many other good aircraft out there for me to waste time and frustration on this one.
