December 30, 2025Dec 30 Very sad, but they don't care, and people keep paying for a buggy, unfinished product. I'm also part of the problem, buying the product in the hope that they will eventually return to the level they were known for. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

December 30, 2025Dec 30 Yeah I agree. Coming from the iFly now back to the new 737 in 2024, the differences are vast. The PMDG 737 is just so much more polished, it's hard to go back to the ifly now (even though I will miss the LEAP sounds). What annoys me most about the iFly is the uber-ancient EFB and the VNAV bugs (no VNAV SPD mode when above the path, no live recalculations of altitude restriction changes). That doesn't justify the 30 dollar story, but it makes you forget much more quickly when you have such a well made study level addon. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I'm loving the PMDG727 2024 and believe it was worth every penny of the $30.... but I still like the humor value in that repaint. December 30, 2025Dec 30 Found some issues with it. A touch too wobbly laterally in rough weather (probably trying to simulate turbulence but thats not quite how turbulence i think should present). Not as compliant in the LNAV turns as i would like in the previously mentioned weather as well. There is also a hole in the cockpit that i cannot unsee once it was noticed. Touchdown sounds are really really faint. Hopefully these things get worked on in the first patch. As for the paint. Not a fan as i also do feel its childish but stuff like this i feel like its not worth an argument over. I ignore it nowadays.
