Not even remotely the same thing. The assembly line isn't stealing other people's art to make its own.

Though both are doing terrible things to the environment.

Do you honestly think the “art” in the first is original…?

and where did the AI “steal” the art from the second…?

I have no problem paying for the product, despite the apparent issues. It is a top quality aircraft that has been my primary aerial chariot in flight simulation since 2011.

That you Crabby

Funny..

But thousands of hours of flying, and getting ready to do my CPL/ME/IR training with Ryanair later, and I'd say it was worth a very expensive coffee..

And yes.  One thing to note in the UK, especially for men..  The more people act like they dislike you, it tends to mean they've accepted you.  Unless you are very close confidants with someone, you won't be getting many niceties.

So the haters will buy the PMDG just to fly that livery? 😉

Goes to show that PMDG has zero humor.

I, for one, think that the livery summed up PMDG's "business model" pretty nicely.

Great aircraft, cant stop flying it and for the 100's of hours I'll get out of it, I was more than happy to pay for the coffee. I'll even throw in a slice of cake!

Opening a whine bar in MSFS2024.

Wow, all this over $30.00... minus what you believe you should of paid for the aircraft. So the problem is really over $15 to $20 as what you believe to be an overpayment. Sounds like the same group of people that don't want to upgrade to the latest platform because of the investments made over time in their older setup.

I have a friend like that until I convinced him that it's okay to let go! I started treating my software just as if it was a broken toy that I've used over time, If I got my monies worth of enjoyment from the product... it made it that much easier to move on without feeling any loss.

The amount of time energy, anger being displayed over 20 bucks is just amazing. Being able to use my flight deck with pmdg in 2024 was worth every penny of the upgrade price.

Some people have an unhealth level of hate for PMDG for some reason.

The cycle of folks up in arms over other people being up in arms about something else is a classic example of the pot calling the kettle black.  This beats a Netflix subscription with all the indignation and drama.  The repaint in the first post is hilarious, but the rest of the thread takes it to another level.

I paid my $30 and am enjoying the AC w/o regrets.  Although I never expected it to actually be "two cups of coffee" in cost, I do think the criticisms are valid and the repaints are a response in kind.  It is not as if anyone reasonable here has truly slandered them, moaned and threatened "legal action" or to "report them to the authorities".
