You'll only get Couatl crashes if you use GSX, or other FSDT products. It is the reason I will never use their products. This goes back to FSX. The instability and number of crashes that Couatl caused was insane. Reports of this to the developer were essentially ignored and some responses were rude. January 3Jan 3 For me, the 738 only rolled away on its own once. But that was due to the slope that ASOBO has built into many airports, which doesn't exist in reality. When going downhill, it rolls away, but when going uphill, you often need a lot of thrust to get going. - Furthermore, since updating to 738, I have had no more problems with control surfaces not responding. No more WASM crashes either. I have already made about 10 flights with the updated 738. It's vacation time, so I have to make the most of it. - Even the stuttering problems that arose a few days after Christmas did not return. Happy Flying! transpate Free DeepL

January 3Jan 3 Seems fine to me for a sim plane. Obviously I've no idea how true to life it is because I am not a pilot and have no wish to be one. But it satisfies the illusion and I can fly it from A to B. The fact that its taken PMDG so long to implement some very minor changes and charge thirty quid for the upgrade to 2024, despite the promises that it would be free, is another matter...

In other words, it depends on the make up of the physical taxiway, the speed at which your taxiing and if the ground is wet or dry. The sound is correct in th PMDG but the volume is not. It’s not that jarring of a soundin the real thing unless you are going fairly fast. Thanks for that feedback. Just my very personal view on the PMDG 737 for MSFS2024. @Christopher Low you're right that going really slow like just 5kt or slightly faster reduces the scrubbing sound. Guess I can't take 15kt turns anymore lol @ahsmatt7 thanks a lot for your R/W insights on that topic.

Nothing on the tablet or ground ssrvices has been improved or changed in the 2024 version. Wrong again. It's kind of painful to see how much of the functionality of the EFB you missed since it was released. The functionality you are looking for is under Automated Ground OPS tab in the EFB.

I was indeed inflight in the 772 when I pointed that functionality out and simply assumed the 737 has all the same functionalities.
January 3Jan 3 This is not directly related to the PMDG 738 2024, but I had to rush onto AVSIM and to this thread to say that @Christopher Low is definitely onto something with this potential temperature/ground movement issue in 2024 ! I just flew the Fenix to Yakutsk (coldest city in the world), which was at -41C 🥶 After landing and departing the runway, I stopped on the taxiway, holding the brakes. When I let the brakes go, the Fenix started moving, relatively quickly at idle thrust (flat ground). I added a little power to get up to 20kts but then, with entirely idle thrust, the Airbus worked it's way up to 34 kts! It didn't behave like that at my departure airport (where the temp was 3C), so there is definitely something amiss with 2024's behaviour in the ground in very cold temps. In its default online matching plane, gears, flaps and spoilers work, testing now, so maybe a faulty online version from PMDG?. The front gear not appearing in the video it is also in other planes and their default matching planes too, so maybe that is a bug from MS/Asobo. Edited January 4Jan 4 by peloto

The way online aircraft appear to other users in Multiplayer or when on Vatsim is controlled entirely by MSFS itself. If the PMDG appears with gear down to other players, that is something that only Asobo could address. Oh this one I know the answer to - update vPilot and it should fix it. There's a whole thread about it, but it is fixed now, I think (I don't do vatsim anymore). Not fussed about the 737 issues. It's a decent plane, was worth it for $30, I don't care too much about PMDG anyway so it's whatever. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
