It’s for the pilot to do an RTO.Just make sure if you’re doing a flex takeoff that the ART is off and turn it back on in the climb.Okay thank you.25 minutes ago, Joshua757 said:It should show EPR 50Yes it shows just that, thanks. One more thing, There is a potential quirk to look out for right after takeoff: sometimes the aircraft fails to follow the intended NAV routing. This happened to me on my second flight, and I believe it occurs because the NAV 1 radio remains tuned to the departure runway's ILS frequency. For instance, if you take off from Runway 26 where the ILS is 111.50 MHz and leave that frequency active, the autopilot can become conflicted or 'confused' by the lingering localizer signal. This is a known behavior in classic airliners like the PMDG DC-6. To prevent the autopilot from getting distracted by the departure runway's ground signals, you must manually tune the NAV radio away to a different frequency, anything but the departing runway, such as the next VOR on your route, immediately after takeoff or during your pre-flight setup.Have you experienced the same thing? Thanks for sharing. I haven't experienced that at all. I usually tune in a valid, random ILS frequency on both sides and do the auto land test, which is probably why I didn't notice.

Are you selecting “Nav” on the autopilot MCP before takeoff? Assuming the SID you are flying starts from the departure RWY, the autopilot will capture and fly the route/course. The autopilot will only track VOR/LOC if you select that on the MCP. If you need to fly a heading from the departure RWY to intercept a VOR or SID, you should make sure the autopilot is in heading mode prior to takeoff. A. So, I landed on that runway and I took off from the very same runway, I didnt touch the ILS Freq on MCP. When airborne and activating NAV + AP, it didnt want follow the magenta line. I restarted the sim, took off on the same runway but this time making sure my ILS Freq is not tuned on that runway freq, it went well. Seen this too often by Real 737 Pilots streamers 🤣
May 26May 26 I would love to love this, but I can't get flight plans to load up in either MSFS2020 or MSFS2024 and I can't even find the manuals anymore (sim how to's - not aircraft flight manuals that are, of course, there on the EFB) - and yes, I have a working sign in to the official forum but can find no information there either. Can someone point me to where any usable documentation exists to load a flight plan because whatever I do presently (both files in the Routes folder etc etc) simply doesn't work and all I find are very contradictory videos from other folks who clearly have had similar issues. The aircraft itself is complex and quirky - and I like that - but why match and beat that with such a supremely complex and impenetrable support and documentation system? The guy working on it had a hard drive crash a while back that lost most of his work. Since then he's been mostly focused on some other project that he has contracted to complete and that one is taking precedence over the Maddog work.
May 26May 26 I ended up doing the quick change to the files to make them somewhat work. Not perfect. But good enough with FSRealistic for now. I remember when the 20th anniversary edition came out and the sound pack creator said it would be just a few weeks. May 27May 27 This is a copy paste from the official Maddog forum. obviously you have to purchase the sound pack for this to work. It’s not perfect But much better than default In your Community\z_Immersive-Audio-MaddogX-Sound-Immersion-NG\SimObjects\Airplanes - Copy all the folders and rename them : MaddogX20th83, MaddogX20th and MaddogX20th88, now you have 6 sets offolders, the old maddog ones and the 20th ones - copy the layout.json and rename it layout.bak for exemple, that's in case you wanna revert what you did- copy all the lines, paste them after the last line, before the last- Rename all the "path": "SimObjects/Airplanes/MaddogX88/sound/something", or/MaddogX83 or MaddogX with"path":"SimObjects/Airplanes/MaddogX20th83/sound/something", You have to add in between 20th in place of MaddogX88 80 or83 The objective is for the soundpack to recognize the new 20thversion folders inside Ish-maddogx-aircraft folder achitecture Edited May 27May 27 by micstatic 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
