January 15Jan 15 Author Got FCR5 working, but sadly no support for aircraft states with TFDi MD-11. Taxi to Takeoff and the replay return aircraft to stand with gear up. Not sure how useful it’s going to be … shame. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
January 18Jan 18 Author Well FCR5 turned out to be a dude. My issues: 1. Shortcut assignments don't work and will not set correctly ... can't use Crtl + Alt + U to trigger Record ... just get U instead? Doesn't see all my control devices, just a few. Change control devices does change all the assignment ... they remain the same when I select different control devices. 2. Options interface is very difficult to understand and/or manage (tooltips would be helpful). Manual is not well written nor organized. 3. Installing a weird file without any sort of explanation as to what it is or what it does ... even documents the weird file in the Manual but doesn't say what it's for? 4. Why is there an external interface that is different from the internal interface? 5. Most of the aircraft I use aren't supported so on replay things like flaps are in the wrong position, landing gear is up (aircraft floating around the airport on replay). 6. Doesn't work with GSX at all, just brings me back to the stall with default and no GSX active. 7. Uninstalling doesn't remove the in flight toolbar menu (trying to figure out how to remove it manually - UPDATE: had to manually locate it in community folder and delete it).
