January 12Jan 12 When selecting an airport in 2024, the game zooms in to the selected airport. But the clouds make it difficult to see the airport parking spots. Unless you zoom in all the way. Before all the updates you were able to filter out the clouds in order to see the airports and their parking positions. But now unable to filter out. Have anyone found a work around to removing clouds so I don't have to zoom in to griund level to see airport parking spots?? January 12Jan 12 Click on advanced on the list on the right of the screen, select another option instead of ‘clouds’. If i remember right there was a mod that turns clouds off. January 12Jan 12 this may help with clouds: flightsim.to had a utility for 2020 to reduce the airports details box size. But it quit working with one of the sim updates. January 12Jan 12 Another thing about flightsim.to. If you don't like the dark screen mode, click on the down arrow next to your avatar at the top of the page. And then click the half moon icon down at the bottom to change to light screen mode. January 13Jan 13 Commercial Member I thought I saw a few times where when I selected an airport it would zoom way down passed the clouds and just show the area of the airport. Is there some selection on how far one can zoom in? I doubt it but thought I would ask. I'll look at the other ideas mentioned above too. January 13Jan 13 After you clicked on Free Flight go to Flight Conditions ->> Custom Weather (Clear Skies). Then yo can easily choose your airport/gate/runway. Once in your a/c you can activate Live Weather again. Usually the sim remembers the new settings for the next start and you get Free Flight always with Clear Skies.
