I think it's more a case of there not being a significantly better alternative. But after reading this thread, I think I'm going to try FSHud / AIGTC to see if the vectoring is any better. I've had a few issues with looping conversations on BATC since the recent update, a particularly annoying one is when an aircraft announces an altitude change every 100 ft while its climbing. January 27Jan 27 Having listened to the synthetic voices in all of these programs on YouTube I’m afraid none of them are sounding realistic to my ear, regardless of what they’re saying. I see that it’s now possible to clone voices online using AI. I would suggest that it would be a good idea to use such AI to replicate the way pilots and controllers actually speak on the radio. Not necessarily cloning individual controller’s voices but surely there’s the ability for AI to learn the correct cadence and inflections used, as they are not the same as in normal conversation, which is what is currently being replicated. For me personally having had real world ATC nattering in my headphones for many years it’s not what’s being said but the way it’s being said that instantly kills the immersion and realism. FS ATC is getting there though, and I concede not being vectored into a mountain might take precedence over correct RT cadence. Edited January 27Jan 27 by jon b 787 captain. January 27Jan 27 Yesterday well via BATC take off clearance and according ATIS we had runway 24 also at AMS, after clearing for takeoff AI aircraft was landing at the opposite direction 06 🙃 That spoils the fun 🤮 With SAI I had hovering aircraft and floating and in the opposite landing AI (So that one is in the virtual bin) Going to retry FSHUD and see.... We still have a long way to go after two decades radio contact was the brightest at that time. 🙃 Edited January 27Jan 27 by virtualstuff André

Are your referring to a different tool and a different geo. area? Out of US, I've tested Say Intentions in France and some weeks ago, it's true that is was all of (awfull) robotic voices and quebec-like, but it as improved since some days. Vincent B. January 29Jan 29 FS-Hud is much better than Beyond in many areas, including traffic, the map and the airport editor. However, everything from TOD onwards is completely inaccurate, particularly the way vectors are handled during ILS interception. Nothing is right. The vectoring in Beyond isn't any better — the altitudes are wrong there, too — but pretty much every available ATC has some deal-breaking issues for me. I only use Beyond to automatically set the frequencies for FS ATC Chatter; otherwise, I mute it and ignore all the nonsense it tells me.
