January 16Jan 16 I reported this happening regularly to me, to MS Zendesk, years ago with MSFS 2020. They said that it means your local cloud save hasn't loaded the settings. Their advice was not to change anything if this happens (as this will invoke a new settings profile) and instead close MSFS, restart your PC and launch - your settings should be there, unless your cloud save is permanently corrupted. If it is (you'll know because this will keep happening) this was the fix:- https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409228619538-How-to-delete-a-cloud-save-on-PC-to-fix-some-loading-issues-or-reset-the-logbook ...but if it happens as a one-off, don't be tempted to start reassigning.... just close MSFS and restart, to see if your settings will load this time. January 17Jan 17 Didn't encounter this yet in 2024 but early in 2020 I had it a few times. Created a offensive initials not allowed moment and the first time it happened I started all over again creating new profiles only to see on the next startup the old ones re-surfaced and I had double profiles now. Mend they were not loaded from the MSFS cloud on startup. A warning that this happened would be nice. The profiles themselves, no, they were not affected. Which profile was assigned to which aircraft, YES, that WAS affected... Since the service updates brought about some changes to control profiles and i also learned more about how the profiles work in MSFS 2024 over the last year, i took the opportunity to simplify my controller setups a lot, but it is going to be quite a long time before i have profiles re-assigned to all the aircraft they were assigned to before whatever server / sync glitch happened. Does saving a local copy of the controller profiles save that information as well? Buzz Benz
