Have you actually read the threads on the Ini forum about this? Every one is closed by Ini Eddie after 4 or 5 posts, and with no resolution. I think it has to do with Asobo coding in 2024. these errors never popped up in 2020. Never had one with the TDFi MD-11 ! I didn`t seen it once on PMDG ( MSFS2020 ) and maybe a MSFS2024 bad ( Asobo ) not shure, but in any case, I notice that it occurs very frequently in almost all inibuilds ACs, and it may well be that other ACs have it from time to time, but not as consistently as inibuilds ACs. At least for me, inibuilds ACs are in first place on WASM crashes ! At least for me, inibuilds ACs are in first place on WASM crashes ! I am speaking here on behalf of MSFS2020 !! cheers 😉 PM, I/we know you're a loyal operator of the MSFS2020. There is nothing wrong with that choice. It's due to the fact that MSFS2020 now meets with your specific expectations, especially in terms of airliners. I also know there is no one else (active) in the Screenshots forum there, who owns a greater no. of airliners (big and small), than yourself... (I might be close behind though...🙂...) ... Anyway, I think, the chance of OP/JYW going back to MSFS2020 to be able to enjoy the iniBuilds A340 (or any other airliner for that matter) has a lower probability than me going back to FSX for my 747, MD11, 707, JS41, Q400 etc., which btw I've tried once...🙂...while in MSFS2024. I have been with MSFS2020 since its earliest times, and what I see is that reporting of WASM crashes have become so much more predominant with MSFS2024, in late 2025 and early 2026. I never knew that even the PMDG 777 can have WASM crashes, which is being reported in MSFS2024. Oh well...best to JYW on his transition to TFDi MD-11, a good one, with much less reported WASM crashes for sure ...in MSFS2024 ...

I believe it doesn't really matter, and I haven't had any WASM quirks with it, but my sessions are always no longer than 2,5hr, and I don't use time acceleration. Yes, it probably does not matter. I have the iniBuilds A340/A350 from the Marketplace and rarely encounter (Orange) WASM crashes. Sim Rate and Long-haul are also likely not factors either. I've flown short-haul and long-haul routes with A340/A350 often, using 1x/2x/4x as needed. What I read, the WASM errors seem to be a complex interaction of Memory Allocation and Management logic of multiple underlying factors, as reflected on our individual systems. It does appear that it's reported more for certain developer(s), though individual reporting is widely varied...from near absent (as in your case) to persistent (for some users) ...
January 25Jan 25 Well, I just completed a short test flight with my "New" A342, because it finally got transferred from the Marketplace into Inibuilds Manager. I didn't try it for a while, and I notice improvements in terms of flight dynamics, and one or two systems details. I still have to complete a full flight. Am considering a flight from Porta Land to Greenland and will report back my findings. I still like the A342, as much as I do even the default 320Neo and 321 in FS 2024. They're most probably not to the level of sophistication of the upcoming Toliss offer, but still remarkably detailed and satisfying for defualt aircraft. My system specs are far from top, and MSFS 2024 plays smoothly even with the 342. No stutters and, so far, no WASM quirks... BTW, does iniBuilds have an A342...I didn't think so...? Is it a fictitious livery? I've flown on LH's A342s, LH had it all: -200/-300/-600, but only the latter two being now active, it seems (with the 342 been already marked "Historic" on their fleet). I am seriously planning the (proposed) Qantas Project Sunrise Project myself, already bit of a veteran of long-haul flights, since the FSX days ...🙂...This will be Ultra-long-haul, fully challenging the designation for the Airbus A350-1000 Ultra Long-Range (ULR) twinjet. London->Sydney: Non-stop...22 hours, 11,000 miles, featuring two sunrises... Like yourself, I've done a few long-haul test flights already with my iniBuilds A350-1000 which a/c will technically suffice, I hope. However, I'm running into some logistic issues on the home-front...🙂...ensuring life-sustaining errands such as grocery-runs etc. when I will be on (prolonged) pilotage duties...will see... Good luck with your upcoming long-haul.
January 25Jan 25 Author Well thankfully I have a good report to make today 😎 Ioaded up into the EIS2 version of the Ini A340 today. I had a wonderful flight from OIII to OIKB with a Mahan Air flight of 2 hours. No WASM issues or freezes and after 6 attempted flights, I finally got the land the bird. It's a stunning aircraft - visuals, FDE, great EFB. Sounds... well not amazing but good enough IMHO. So although I cannot currently fly a EIS1 model of this aircraft without it freezing up, I'm happy that the EIS2 model seems to work ok for me, with no WASM unresponsiveness. So I've cancelled my refund request and look forward to many more enjoyable (short 😄- I've read the WASM crashes are much more common on attempted long-hauls) flights in this 4-engined beast! I've shown the close-up Flightdeck shots of both EIS1 and EIS2 (iniBuilds) VIP A343 Editions below, for (visual) comparison. See, below, the (EIS1) CRT Rounded corner displays in shot #1 vs. the (EIS2) LCD Squared displays in shot #2. Note especially the (Airbus) Standby Attitude Indicator dials. I like to fly both types, duly replicated by iniBuilds, but prefer the older/vintage EIS1 version. A bit more information after the images... January 25Jan 25 Well, just a short followup... My LPPT - LPMA, Pax, EIS1 model flight froze exactly around 1 hr after having started 😞 when I was about to enter the STAR for LPMA 😞 I first tthought I might had inadvertently left the Pause before TOD enabled, but it wasn't, and there was no way to "unpause" the sim... But ESC allowed to leave the flight to the MSFS 2024 Main menu...
