January 28Jan 28 Hi: After one mishap (WASM crash) last week, with my iniBuilds v1.0.7 A343, I wish to report my 2nd successful flight without any issue at all. So, I now conclude I'm good with the v1.0.7. Wishing to test a long-haul flight here, I have imported into the FMGS, the (SimBrief) flight plan (6,000 miles) from EDDF/Frankfurt to VHHH/Hong Kong (see EFB Map). This same (EDDF->VHHH) flight, I'd completed a month ago with the PMDG 777F. Three pictures, till lift-off, of the DLH A343 (EIS1 Cockpit), are shown below. All seems well with this flight. Those who are having issues with the A343, I hope you get to work them out somehow. It's such a nice airplane in the SIM...

Bravo @Bigmack Wonderful. Bigmack will be happy that his method works for someone else…🙂… 9+ hours long haul in an A350…that’s nice. Congrats. Hope it holds true for your next flights, without having to repeat the steps…
January 29Jan 29 Well i installed the A350 again and it appears to be better. On my list to try again. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

Fingers are crossed, this is fast becoming my favourite aircraft, both in sim and IRL. i9-13900K | 6400MHz DDR5 (32GB) | GeForce RTX 4090 24GB MSFS 2024 | PMDG 777-300ER | FBW A380X | Fenix A320 | ini A350

Who knows you might be traveling on the Qantas Project Sunrise A35K one day…🙂… Good luck.
January 29Jan 29 Author Tonight, I spent the whole evening flying 2 different flights with the Ini A340..... one in Iran lasting 2.5 hours, then another in Africa lasting 3.5 hours. This was a test, using the EIS1 version, which has frozen and become unresponsive on previous attempts. I read a post on Reddit that claimed that using the integrated sim rate settings in the EFB is what causes the WASM freezes..... ....so I conducted these 2 flights (longer than I've ever managed yet in this plane), without touching the sim rate, and all went perfectly!! No freezes or WASM crashes 😎 I love this aircraft! It's so immersive. A bit of a compromise not being able to increase the sim rate.... but I don't care! I'm just delighted that I can now use the EIS1 version of this aircraft for not just short, but now medium-range flights, without seeing WASM freezes 😊 Edited January 29Jan 29 by JYW Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK

Hi: Yes, (at least in my case) we can define increased sim rates, for the A343, with our (custom) keys (independent of EFB), by defining it via the (MSFS) Flight Controller Configuration Interface. It works the same way as done via the EFB (EFB rate is max 4x). I normally use "]" and "[" keyboard keys for increasing/decreasing the simrate. I just tried 2x/4x on my A343 with my own keys and verified the increased sim rate by observing both the (Airbus) on-board Chronometer, and also visually from the external view. So, it works, no freezes seen. However, EFB will show you the current rate on the top Bezel. Hope, it works for yourself... w/o any freezes... Cheers...! Edited January 30Jan 30 by P_7878

I didn't (dare) try. I was enjoying the flight and really didn't want a freeze! 😊 It looks like @P_7878 has found it ok using the default keys for sim rate. I will try it this weekend and report back! The EFB triggered 4x, I’ve tested on prolonged periods of cruise flight on A343. No issues there… However, 4x outside of the EFB logic, I tested just now, no (apparent) issues… It should not matter whether 4x is triggered with or without EFB, but one does not know for sure, until tested more thoroughly. YMMV. (I’m beginning to like this acronym, more and more…🙂…)

But I'm hoping that setting sim rate outside of the EFB might be ok. I love this plane. I'd love it even more if I could cheat a little and have some sim rate acceleration. 😊 As it stands I've been flying Mahan Air (Iran) domestic flights, most of which are 1 - 2.5 hours and some of which are flown with the A340-300 in real life. I just watched a Mahan Air A343 cockpit video of a flight from Tehran to Bandar Abbas, 1hr 40 mins. Going to fly it tonight. As much as I'm enjoying my Persian flying, I would like to fly some long-haulers too, but I'd need to establish whether native sim rate works without causing a freeze first 👍 Edited January 30Jan 30 by JYW Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK
January 30Jan 30 Sorry to have somewhat taken over your thread @JYW - just wanted to report a successful loooooong haul in the A350. A tad over 14 hours block time, aircraft didn't miss a beat. Now, to summise what I *believe* may be a contributing possible factor towards WASM crashes. I tried this flight yesterday, but got an orange screen crash whilst loading cargo and pax at Sydney. My intention was to include and be able to see the physical passenger models from GSX Pro, but instead I got the crash and therefore gave up for the day. So I tried again today, except this time in GSX I unticked the IniBuilds A350-900 box, so that I would still get the passengers, but they would not visually appear in the cabin. 14+ hours later I'm touching down on 06R at LAX. Is GSX part of the issue? I don't know for sure, what I do know is that I'm going to bed now, one satisfied simmer. I love this plane. Cheers. EDIT - I don't use any sim rate changes whatsoever, for the record. January 30Jan 30 Fantastic news. OP’s thread is progressing remarkably well…🙂… 14+ hours at 1x, that’s sheer dedication! And, at least, w/o iniBuilds GSX enabled, all is well for you. Congratulations.
