Water rudder

did i need to edit the aircraft.cfg file to enable them?i've create a part and name it something like rudder water deploy (i have to check gmax sdk again for the correct spelling), but when in fs2k2, it didn't extend as expected. Please help

In the Contact Points section in the aircraft.cfg file, you can add your rudders. Here is a little trick, if it applies to your situation:Open the cfg file with FSedit and locate the front float contact points (probably 2) and add 30 degrees in the space for steer angle. The plane will act like it has a water rudder and it will be active all the time so you don't need shift-w. You might spend a lot of time to get an actual water rudder to work right.John Woodward
