February 1Feb 1 Wanted to fly the PMDG 737-800 today. All liveries came with purple checkered wings. All windows were purple too. Ended up flying the iFly 737 MAX instead with no livery/add-on rendering issues. Is this a PMDG or MSFS 2024 issue? I even bought a livery pack from Market Place for the PMDG and same issue. I did uodate OC3 and deleted and reinstalled all livery. Will delete the downloaded plane from my library and will re-download it. Thanks for the video! Thanks for the video! If that doesn't fix it....load the default PMDG liveries and see if they display ok. Also try different models like the freighter or BBJ. If they all have purple wings then its probably a texture that went corrupt or missing (never could figure out how that happened randomly, LOL). If the PMDG default liveries are also bad, you can go the OC, click the 3 dots (...) and select verify files to make sure your install is ok. (The latest build is 4.00.007. "The James Bond" build, LOL). If the file validation comes back with errors...click the "Remove product", and reinstall it. If that fails, it will be time to submit a ticket at PMDG. February 1Feb 1 I’ve seen such anomalies with PMDG a/c, including in earlier SIM(s). As the master repainter…🙂…, Steve D, says, it’s almost always a case of corrupt (or missing) texture file components. Hope, you sort this out…!
February 2Feb 2 Author Thanks @Steve Dra and @P_7878 for your advice. I did get it fixed. I deleted the 737 from my PC. I tried to redownload it and it failed. My only option now is to stream the 737 and that works. Thanks again for the suggestions!!
