February 9Feb 9 My PFC serial throttle quad's pwr supply placard says 12vdc at 3.3A. No way it's drawing anywhere near that much power, though. I'm guessing that it's unregulated, so it has a fairly high current rating to control the voltage droop. I think a regulated 12v supply at 1A would probably also work. February 10Feb 10 Author Thank you both for your answers. I saw in a forum elsewhere the linear pots are something like 20K not 100k and that is supposed to provide better stability but also requires higher power draw. I ordered something from Amazon tonight. I will get back to you and let you know how it goes. Just out of curiosity, do you both have the stand-alone serial throttle, or is it integrated into a console? (The throttle quad I ordered is stand alone.)
