Looks great, the L1011 is such a beautiful aircraft.

I look forward to seeing it in Air Canada red and white 😀

Wow! You have an impeccable memory. My first widebody experience was on an Air Canada 747. My second widebody experiece was on an Air Canada L1011. A mind blowing experiece after flying on Air Canada

Not sure a 3 tri-star makes sense,

What's making sense got to do with anything <grin>?

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

This is one of my most anticipated releases. The other one is the JF A300 - I fly the ini A300 a lot but as we all know all cool planes have flight engineers.

You mean this one below...🙂...

This is/was the Just Flight L-1011. I had both the versions from JF and CS in FSX.

I like this livery too, though you may be biassed, of course...🙂... The cheatlines (aka waistlines) are a thing of the past...now ...

INS Route Imports
Planned since early development, we are also implementing the ability to import routes created via SimBrief or through the simulator’s own EFB directly into the INS.

This will dramatically reduce pre-flight workload while preserving the depth and procedural nature of inertial navigation — perfect for experienced crews who want realism without lengthy manual entry. 📋

📘Paper Flight Bag
As we briefly mentioned above, the TriStar introduces our new period-authentic "Paper Flight Bag", a vintage-inspired alternative to the modern EFB found in other iniBuilds aircraft. Designed to match the era and atmosphere of the L-1011, the PFP provides a tactile, analogue-style interface while still delivering the full suite of essential features simmers expect. Performance calculations, aircraft configuration tools, loading and fuel management, navigation references, and system controls (such as the automated Flight Engineer) are all accessible, offering both immersion and convenience without compromising capability.

Nice.

While the manual waypoints entry into the INS system is practice-worthy, it will be surely welcome to have the above mechanism for directly importing the SimBrief Route.

I recall, in earlier SIMs, including FSX, there were also some tools available to automatically import the waypoints into the INS system.

Period-authentic Paper Flight Bag (PFP or PFB?) ...Anyway, that sounds interesting ...

Thanks for the update.

Ha ha.  He may be biased.  But Air Canada has some great liveries.  Then & now.   I like CP Air too.

Indeed, including the Masked Bandit and Toothpaste Blue...🙂...CP Air being the avatar for @regis9...

I've flown only once with Air Canada, many moons ago, in a Toothpaste Blue 767, from Toronto to Québec City, as I recall.

The (assigned) UAL 737 developed some technical issue, and I was asked if I could wait an hour to fly in an AC 767 (same Alliance), instead.

Of course, I waited...that's also my only B767 flight.

This is why we love them so much.  First ever flight for me was in an Air France A300B2 Heathrow to Paris CDG, second was across to Toronto in a Caledonian Tristar.  So I can't wait for both of these models - good times!

I hope they consider doing the other versions of the Tristar afterwards; I would love to see them in Courtline and Eastern colours.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I own all of Ini's airliners, except the A350.  I love the A300 Premium and the A340.  One personal rule I have learned though, is never to buy Ini airliners on day 1 release.  They tend to release with some big bugs and low overall stability.  Then, sometimes over just the next two weeks or so, they begin to get fixed up with lots of updates.

I will definitely be buying the Tristar, as it was the first wide-body aircraft I ever flew in IRL. (Caledonian, Manchester to Goa, India) But I'll probably wait a month after release, so that my initial experience isn't full of frustration and disappointment.
