One issue I had, I've read tat it's SOP to leave the autothrottle engaged for landing (like an Airbus), but in doing that the throttles spooled up on touchdown, I had to disconnect the autothottle and hammer the brakes to not go off the end of the runway.  I had the autothrottle speed set to manual rather than FMS, maybe that's the issue (I'm thinking as I type this)?

I did find a visual anomaly on the exterior, at some angles the passenger tinted windows would disappear.

Same here, I went through every menu I could find, still possible pilot error on my part though!

Edit: Just read on their Discord that this is real world behaviour and the PFD cannot be unsplit.

I always leave AT on FMS but disengage around 170-190 knots when I drop the gear.  Seems I always need to tweak airspeed on final and I like the control.

Love this plane. It exceeds my expectations except for one thing.  Does anyone know what that obnoxious low frequency thumping in the background is?  Sounds like you’re driving on a flat tire, at 41,000 feet!  It’s a definite immersion killer, for me at least.  YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

New HJet user here - how do I change the function of the left side of the left PFD?  Mine is set on a map with 2.5NM zoom - can I even change the zoom level? 

I understand that you can't change it from Split to Full even though there seems to be a button for that, but I can't change it to anything else either which can't be right. 

edit - Never mind - found the tiny click spot to switch panes 🙄

The left CU controls the cyan window, the right CU the purple window.

I already did join the Discord.  At the time I asked the question, there was no info on there.  Apparently the answer is to use the manual from the 2020 version of the plane.  

I hope developers realize that a general chat discord is not the best place for useful information.  I try to use it more, as it is more common, but around a launch day, it just turns into chaos.  100s of people asking "is it out on x store yet?"  Then 5 posts later the same question gets asked.

It is though if the information is pinned.  I'm not sure if they did that though. If it is you can click the little pin icon at the top to access any important info.  You can also search for keywords. Or users or by date/time.

Otherwise if it's a product with support they typically have an area with "threads" to keep track of issues.  Flightfx does have this.

Discord can be well organized, but most don't seem to be.  

I don't think it is just me, as there are countless people asking the same question.  Someone else is asking it in their hjet general channel as I type this.  

Not complaining, just feedback for developers out there.  I realize these companies don't have massive teams, but just seeing people ask the same questions over and over seems inefficient to me.  

I am one of those people who searches first before asking (that's a pet peeve of mine).

Am about to fly the forementioned Vancouver to Vegas flight. This is from my account at FltPlan.com, a real world Garmin owned flight planning site.  I have a nicely tuned Hjet fuel table there based on 1,000 ft increments in altitude, and have logged 1,280 Hjet hours over 675 flights in MSFS 2020 and 2024.  This plan is at FL370 (if OAT cooperate) with (6) souls onboard and storage bays at 50% of capacity. Only need to load about 2,600 lbs of fuel, and that is very close to max for overall weight.  Would need less fuel with lesser pax/cargo load.

I quickly move the route [SEA J5 FMG J92 OAL TQILA.COKTL4] over to simbrief for import into the Hjet.

Exactly how do you activate the AT in this plane?  I couldn't get it to take hold yesterday.  Maybe I wasn't flying the correct version of the plane.

Click on the AT button in the autopilot section.

That sound is intended for the take off roll, and is meant to simulate "driving over the (runway) lights" 😊  It's relatively convincing - on the ground!!! - I've never heard it in the air, so imagine this was a sound loop glitch.  I can see how it would be distracting, still hearing that at FL410!

I'm enjoying the new native 2024 model.  My own personal observation is that the a/c feels a little over-powered on the initial climb out, straight after t/o. For typical loads and climb out pitch angles, the speed on the ASI just seems to spin like a fruit machine.  The FMS speed commands a 140kts climb but after rotation and initial climb out at typical pitch, my speed was already over 200kts.  Pitching up would have led to a very high pitch / AoA, so I throttled back instead.  

Anyone else found this?  If not, perhaps I was lighter than intended.  Or perhaps you're not supposed to pull back the throttle to the "MCT" detent for climb, and in fact retard it more?
