February 19Feb 19 Rob: The A350 (and its cockpit avionics) is known to take a few minutes to fully load, at least from my Xbox experience. Something does not sound right in your case, but always give (and wait for) a few minutes for the engines and the avionics parameters to appear and fully stabilize, even when you are starting on the runway with engines-running state. Good luck.

Hi Rob: I didn't have time to do a full flight, but I just did a quick pass of the Cold & Dark engine-start-up steps on this A350-1000 in my Xbox system (along with a SimBrief Flight Plan "KORD->EGLL" uploaded into the EFB/FMS). It all seemed fine to me; no freezes, blackouts or WASM crashes, encountered. Three pictures are shown below. I will try to do a flight this weekend. Cheers...! Edited February 20Feb 20 by P_7878

February 20Feb 20 I have a related question to the OP as it relates to transitioning from the A320 to the A350. Was there any need to change the joystick/rudder pedal sensitivities in the main control settings in MSF2024 or did you apply/use the same device sensitivities from the A320. I know the EFBs have a calibration function for the throttles but was wondering about pitch, yaw and rudder adjustments? February 20Feb 20 Author Okay, I am deterred lol. I really want to like the A350 but I am seeing too many issues atm. Even my TrackIR issues only occur with the A350, which is very strange. It seemed pretty stable the first few flights and then problem after problem. I will have to wait for another update and see if iniBuilds can stabilize the product. My other add-ons (Fenix, Black Square, FlightFX) are rock solid. Bummer. On a more positive note, I successfully auto landed the A320. I really love that plane. But…time to explore the dark side. I bought the 777F last night. Oh boy. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

There are plenty of excellent SIM airliners around (in MSFS) to fly and enjoy. Make some notes on the A350, so you can come back to it in the future sometime. I've a feeling you'll have better luck with the 777F, after all that one, we have been flying for more than a decade...🙂...I own the 777F myself and fly it when I can. Last I flew it long-haul, was a (RW) DLH/Aerologic Route from EDDF/Frankfurt to VHHH/Hong Kong. Here is my post in the Screenshots Forum, if you wish to see: Now, from your agony with the A350, I got my inspiration...🙂...to finish my (KORD/Chicago O'Hare -> EGLL/London Heathrow) flight I'd mentioned yesterday. There was no issue encountered with the A350, from takeoff to touchdown; of course, I fly simple...🙂...e.g., I don't (can't) use TrackIR/VR and such, due to my eye conditions, but they are incredibly immersive, I know. The only problem I had was that I couldn't dis-ARM the Ground Spoilers. The speedbrake lever wouldn't just budge for me, probably pilot error rather than of the SIM... (will check my key binding later). Here, below, is pictorial evidence of my fluid and flawless, but lonely flight through the night (in the A350-1000), across the Atlantic (I used Sim Rate 4X for the cruise phase per EFB shot #3 below). Cheers...!

I will probably reinstall it again soon and give it another go. Looks like a fun flight! I had big plans for that bird. Ugh. Glad i gave you inspiration lol. Still not intuitive but better then the virtual keyboard. The one postitive thing about the virtual keyboard is it will automatically go to the next box when you hit enter.that can be handy I prefer the real keyboard I did see a video with the real thing and it's not any easier on the real airplane. So as annoying as it is, it's actually pretty realistic. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

You did put in some serious time, I think...into the study of A350, Rob. Time well-spent... The issues with the iniBuilds A340/A350 have been troublesome even to many seasoned simmers and their systems, is what I gather... (BTW, I did a post a fuller account of my A350-1000 (ORD->LHR) flight, along with more images, in the Screenshots Forum, if you wish to take a look. And, yes, I would not have flown that A350 flight today, if not triggered by your experience...🙂...) Cheers...!
