How to create an xml gauge which 'flashes'?

Recommended Posts

Guest AndrewW

Is there a way to program a gauge, so that when an area is clicked, the image could flash for a few seconds? I don't recall seeing any flash commands in any of the XML gauges I have viewed - is this possible? Also are there any A:vars which cover the wing anti ice systems? I could only find (STRUCTURAL DEICE SWITCH). Many thanks in advanced.Andrew

Maybe I have posted a flashing door warning light here some time ago, I can't remember properly. Here a modified line of beech_baronAnnunciator Aft Door.xml:<Value>(A:CANOPY OPEN, bool) (* left condition - right blink generator*) (P:absolute time, number) 1 % 0.5 > *</Value>The anti ice systems in Fs2002 are not modelled very well, you can get a working deice switch with STRUCTURAL DEICE SWITCH, but you shouldn't be surprised, if it doesn't have any effect on icing. At least more function then the "dummy" deice switches in the Baron.Arne Bartels
