March 1Mar 1 The new MSFS2024 FlightFX H-Jet is a free upgrade for MSFS2020 users but it breaks the sim by disabling the keyboard ESC command (and some others) which means once a flight is started you are stuck - no way back to the menus or the main screen and you have to go to Task Manager to shut down. Uninstall the H-Jet and things are back to normal. Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
March 1Mar 1 This has to be something on your end... I've been flying the HJET with 2020 and 2024 and haven't had any issues with the escape button. Could you please outline the steps that led to this error, which is unique worldwide so far, so that others could replicate it? If that's not possible, would it be within your power to avoid generalizing your problems without further evidence? March 1Mar 1 Perfectly fine for me with regards to escaping to the menu, only issue I have is in VR I can't get out of the plane at the end (as I like to do) so have to use the Shift + C shortcut which is slightly annoying. March 1Mar 1 Funny how some people turn their isolated problem into something that supposedly effects everyone.

It's better to word your post to indicate that you are having a certain problem, rather than "HJET breaks MSFS2024". Your post will show more integrity and people will be more likely to help. Just 2c. Now, the issue you are describing I used to get fairly regularly in MSFS2024'd earlier iteration. The ESC no longer works, as do lots of other keys. I've not had it for about 4 months now (since SU3 launched). It was (or is, in your case) a known MSFS2024 bug and has nothing to do with a specific airplane addon. When it used to occur for me, it could be in any aircraft - even default. The only solution was to restart MSFS2024 and it would then be fine. I'm really surprised to hear that this bug is still occurring for anyone though. It stopped overnight for me, when SU3 was laucnhed. I understand what you're saying here, but as someone who, admittedly, has done this very thing, I think we're very frustrated, and since everything worked correctly pre-install, and everything worked correctly post uninstall, then it's the software, right? We don't just settle down, take a stress pill (quoting my favorite movie), and try to troubleshoot the issue ourselves.
March 1Mar 1 Some folks will only see "The HJET Breaks" showing up in a search near you. How many sales will that kill off for FlightFX? I see it as no consideration for others. dd Edited March 1Mar 1 by Sky_Pilot071

March 1Mar 1 Hello all, New here! Is anyone having issues with the Hondajet for MSFS 2024 showing wrong heading? Only thing I've found fixes this is downloading the aircraft again.... But then after one flight it is stuck again at practically 90 degrees from track (as in the aircraft icon and heading is 90 degrees roughly wrong from the track).
March 1Mar 1 If using HDG you will need to intercept your flightplan route (magenta line). If you have a PROC loaded then simply activate it. Make sure FMS is active in both cases. dd Edited March 1Mar 1 by Sky_Pilot071

Compare the keyboard profile in use for the Hjet to the profile in use for your other aircraft. etc. I have had a couple of recent issues with 2024 and the Hjet with "perisistence", the saving or continuation of selected profiles in use from one MSFS session-to-next-session. Check all your controls profiles, including the Airplane profile. I have a strong suspicion the answer lies there in the controls settings. I am needing to change back my airplanes profile and possibly one or two more profiles from session to session for the new 2024 Hjet.
