Slice plane and B757 nose tutorial

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hello all.Been working on a project; first time using GMAX and have some of the stuff figured out, but it's sorta trial and error, then a little more error followed by "aahhhhhhhh, so thats how you do that!" :)Anyway, when I use Slice plane to add new cross-sections to my fuselage, do I need to edit the number of vertices to 0? I noticed that using slice plane tends to double the ammount of verts.Any suggestions? Also, anyone who has that B757 nose tutorial, can you please send it via email to me, address is awolcott@bellsouth.netThanks!Andrew W.Atlanta, GA

hey, convert the obj to editable poly and click slice, under Poly mode, then convert to editable mesh and notice any difference.do the same under vertex mode. You should see a diff in the modes, use the ones that give you the desired results. its easier to do it that way at first.
