Looking forward to this as I've been hoping we'd eventually see them!  Love the Garmin stuff, but it's good to see variety and the Avidyne units do look nice IRL.

Really good news!  I am not familiar with these but I'm sure I will be eventually.

It's a surprise. The Avidyne unit are not that popular. I'm not saying all should be Garmin. The market share of Avidyne is limited and I didn't expect developpers to invest is these devices as good as they can be!

Although I definitely appreciate the variety offered with the introduction of these units, I am still hoping for digital 'six pack' replacements with WT quality, like a Garmin G5 (thanks A2A for doing this) G500 or non Garmin equivalents. That way aircraft developers can better replicate upgraded panels.

I can't argue with any of this.  I'd add Aspen Avionics to the list as well.

Flysimware did a G5 in their Sierra already about 2 years ago.  But yes it'd be great to see WT do it, because it would be "native" to the sim then, and we might see more aircraft using it.

I've seen Aspen with voice command capability, which I thought was really neat especially if you have a high workload...WT Aspen in the sim w/voice commands would be awesome.

They should be in the SU5 beta soon.

They were mentioned in the first or second patch, but they apparently jumped the gun on that note.

I'll give Carenado a little credit for actually trying to add a basic Aspen to their Baron 55.  Except they failed miserably because neither the CDI nor the LPV GP displays at least last I checked when using the GNS or TDS GTNxi lol
