Haha, they're trying hard to keep up with the iFly.  Not quite managing though, especially compared to what's coming out soon from iFly.

Yep. 2024 is superior than 2020 in every way. Better physics, better weather, more options for the third parties to build more realistic aircraft.

Yeah because those are the aircraft so many people have wanted to buy! Randazzo is a pragmatist, and a successful one.  He'll adjust PMDG’s business model as necessary to continue that succe

very nice.

That looks absolutely incredible.

What an upgrade.

this is how the first update to 2024 should have been, anyhow I enjoyed the update preview with my cup of coffee. This year is promising to be a good flight sim year.

I'm just not convinced, looks to me like pretty much all of those comparison shots were taken under different lighting conditions.  So how much of any visual differences are due to the better lighting capabilities of the sim engine itself as opposed to the modelling? I wonder...

I think a more comparison would’ve been to do both shots in “24. Especially considering the new lighting engine in “24. Though I guess this video makes the shots look way more drastic.

regardless a welcome addition and well done to the Gaya team.

Is this going to be a free update?

MSFS

Anyhow if I am correct this is first for the 700 only. The 800 was the first one released, might think this one was the most sold.

Again a smelly coffee move from PMDG? ( trying to squeeze people to buy the 700 because of the texture update).

Again credits to FENIX wo keeps thing fair and easy.

The external and cockpit views are awesome. Don't really care about the cabin. I hope we're given the choice whether or not we want cabins.

They've made airports previously (They are also doing a come back on this), worked with Microsoft directly in handcrafted airports and other items. More recently it seems they've been helping PMDG with 3D scanning and textures.
