and a lot of parts of the external model have been completely re-textured.

Retextured or also 3D Model updates? Maybe this is where my confusion is coming from. As far as the modelling it does not seem to have more detail.

Haha, they're trying hard to keep up with the iFly.  Not quite managing though, especially compared to what's coming out soon from iFly.

Yep. 2024 is superior than 2020 in every way. Better physics, better weather, more options for the third parties to build more realistic aircraft.

Yeah because those are the aircraft so many people have wanted to buy! Randazzo is a pragmatist, and a successful one.  He'll adjust PMDG’s business model as necessary to continue that succe

For the interior (cockpit and cabin) purely re-textured.   The aircraft external model has modeling changes, to the wheel wells and some other rivets and fixtures.

I have done one flight so far from KMCO to KORD. The performance is fine, but this version definitely uses more VRAM than any other aircraft in MSFS 2024 on my system.

I monitor VRAM using the Windows Gamebar performance widget. The 737 was using about 85% VRAM on the ground at MCO. It dropped to about 79% in flight and went up to a peak of 96% after landing at ORD.

I did not run out of VRAM, but it came close.

I have a RTX3080Ti GPU with 12 GB
