also the Ants Airplanes – de Havilland Tiger Moth is great hand flyer tail dragger with loads of things to do and watch for. And IMHO a much overlooked addon.

The CAS Cub is hands-down the BEST stick and rudder airplane in MSFS.  The BEST.  And as the real J-3 is the best stick and rudder airplane that has ever been built, this works out well.  Additio

It's one of those great add-ons I never actually fly. I've a few like that. Amazing but somehow, I never seem to 'reach' for them.

Wow!!! THE COMMET !!!! 😍

Could be either the 1930s twin-engined racer, the DH.88, or the four-engined jet airliner, the DH.106. Both were de Havilland Comets.

That radio, mounted on the back of the front seat, is that a realistic option? Or is it something the developer has made up for sim purposes?

Haha in airplanes this old, just about ANYTHING is a realistic option.  There are as many restoration styles as there are airframes still flying.  I've flown J-3s with no electrical system at all, I've flown them with nothing but an electric starter, and I've flown them with all manner of radios crammed in all manner of places.

The one thing I'd say about the CAS Cub is: if I were restoring a J-3 and putting an electrical system in it to run radios, I'd surely give it an electric starter too 😁. But I suppose from a simming standpoint, the hand propping is novel.  And I'll bet, somewhere out there, is a Cub in this exact configuration.  There's always one.

Nice!

I wonder if "Crazy Alice's Flight School" livery is available?

I thought the same, and was about to post it when wrote above, but I thought they really meant the 4-jet "coffin"...

The Comet (quadri-jet) was my first balsa kit, hmmmm 52 yrs ago 🙂

Sorry, I should have been clearer - it's the DH.106 the dev is building, specifically the Comet 4 (and I have asked if we can get an Nimrod version as well)

Great suggestion and I think the Drifter and Winjeel deserve a place in everyone's hangar as well.
I hope we'll get to see MSFS versions of Ant's T-28 Trojan trainers as well thought I haven't seen any news from him since Jan last year.

Thanks for that. The Comet 4 is the one I would most like to see, so I'm very interested.

I purchased CAS J3 Cub and was able to fly it when I first purchased but today I cannot get it move on the ground.  All Variants.  Anyone else having this problem with the FS2024 version.  Tried restarting system, uninstalled and reinstalled, still have the issue.   Before anyone asks, chocks were removed.  Seems like a nice aircraft.

I think I once solved some similar problem by using slew mode to move the airplane around a bit.

Are you using Ctrl-SPACE to release the parking brake ?

I forgot to mention I am already flying circuits on this great model, around my beloved LPMN 😁

Thanks I will try CTRL + Space for the parking brake.  Although, when I remove the wheel chocks, the rudder pedals release as if the chocks are the brakes.  I will also try slew mode.
