And another thing I noticed: at each refresh (300 sec) the sim freezes for about 5-10 seconds, although having excluded the script-folder from the virus-checks… I still don't know the answer to this - many don't see this at all! In the latest version I have a tick box allowing for separate API calls or combined - let me know if the combined option is an improvement for you. April 24Apr 24 As others have reported, I've now begun to experience the about-five-second freeze in X-plane followed by the Powershell pop-out (flashes by) and another second or so before XP resumes. Using the 1.9 version, at 300 second interval between checks (now extended to 900 to reduce the bother)..
April 24Apr 24 There's only 1 thing that will fix the pausing for everyone: async web access. Either have to background the process in powerhell or somehow bundle an external fancy library with FWL or switch to a language that has threads. Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...
April 24Apr 24 I continue to have no pauses at all, no power shell popouts, everything absolutely smooth... I have FPS throttled at 30 through the Xp12 EXE flag and run the sim at 5 FMs per frame. I also switch it over to manual on descent so it doesn't happen during landing...it seems to hold whatever whatever values were there in Live... Only problem is any haze won't thicken up if you above BLH altitude. I have tried a couple of ways to fix the paused but unsuccessful so far. April 24Apr 24 Author I think I have solved this pause issue by using Python for the HTTP API calls. I'm testing it now on my PC and I see no flashes or pauses at all in XP12. But great to see this level of support !!! Now, sometime in the future, it would be great to have an app that paints high alt clouds (As Cs Cc), which Xp12 dosen't really do that well... April 24Apr 24 Great news and I really start to appreciate that plugin more and more. A think I still don't understand quite well, is why there are some layer of haze appearing out of nowhere. Is that a known bug in XP12 that cannot be fixed now? i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM

That looks far too local an effect for AutoHaze to be responsible. Perhaps others have seen this in X-Plane - I haven't. No no, it’s already an issue in the default XP12-version. I was just wondering if there was something we could do about that… Edited April 24Apr 24 by Franz007 i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM
