It's so hard to get too excited with msfs because I know that the sim, or a part of the sim, can be broken by the next update.

My sim was silky smooth during the entire SU4 run. SU5 has introduced the occasional pause or stutter and it's one of the most annoying things I've had to deal with since SU5 was released.

Even a clean install didn't bring back SU4 performance for me. I'll keep trying!

AIG Issue most likely.  No issues here with default traffic.

I doubt it. I have AIG running now with no issues or studders. Something else is going on with your rig.

I think you meant to quote me. There's definetely something wrong with my rig, because there's no way that it can be the AIG fleet or an issue with the sim itself. I trust what Kai, the dev tells me. According to you, the floating parked aircraft is also a problem with my rig. There are countless threads that discuss these issues. It's our rigs, not the software. I disagree!

It seems this thread quickly devolved into being a dumping ground to complain about weather, landing gears, and a bunch of other stuff that has nothing to do with SU5.

As for SU5... it's working great for me. Someone mentioned earlier that ATC is improved, and I'll concur that it is working slightly better in career mode... I've only had one delayed request to descend so far, but in SU4 I basically gave up and started my descent while ATC yelled at me to return to cruise altitude 20mi away from the airport.

This discussion about landing gear LODs has really stirred up some ill-intent, drama (and blood pressure).

Anyway, I saw this today, so it seems Asobo have got it right!

You must be using older model PD3 or 2020 AI. I saw this at the early release pf 2024. Not anymore.
