FSTramp (flight planner) license FREE

Featured Replies

Hi mates,

For various reasons Helge Schroeder is (will be retiring) and as a consequence FSTramp (flight planner) license is made free:

http://fstramp.com

FSTramp is the successor of FS Navigator in the days of FS2002 and FS9.

GO GET before the website goes offline.

Many heartedly THANKS to Helge for thinking of the community!

brillant software.  however doesnt work anymore with xplane and you also have to remove navigraph folders from the community folder to get the database to run (then you move the folder back)

but ive loved fstramp from day one

I know this software has been around for many years and I appreciate the devs gesture in now making it free, as he retires.

As a point of fact, does anyone know if FS Tramp offers anything over and above something like Little Nav Map?

The page also refers to a rather interesting-sounding feature that allows "automated flight - from take off to landing".  This sounds interesting (having your 'copilot' perform the take off!)  Does it actually work? As I've never known any other software be able to perform an automated take off.

I think he means Autopilot (after take-off).

I wondered that too, but the features page lists the autopilot functionality separate to this ability to automate the full flight regime.    So that got me wondering.

You may well be right though, that it's just relating to an autopilot provision.

Wow, blast from the past. I used it with P3D. I replaced it with LittleNavMap for MSFS

That brings me back to my FS9 days.  One thing I liked when it was called FS FS Navigator is that you could set the tower view within the map.
