It's not drama, it's a joke. Humour does not travel well, especially here.

Great. This is how standards get lowered. Maybe pigeon droppings don't matter to YOU. Just understand that there are serious simmers for whom this is essential because they know and follow real-w

Lol.  I do wonder how the performance will be.  The default one instantly gives me the resource message.

I wish devs wouldn't do release dates at all.  In fact don't even show me your product.  Just quietly release it when it's ready.  We'll tell you if it sucks haha

Love the title of your thread!

No 3rd party airport is revolutionary to me.

If I fly out of an airport a couple of times it is a total waste of money!

For me never understood the 3rd party airport add-on stuff.

Agree. The only exception I do is for my home airports and hubs I use IRL. But I'm just a tubeliner guy. I still believe in the wisdom of this thread:

I remember Ray Smith and his AFCADs for FSX. I still use them for P3Dv5. Too bad he doesn't fly MSFS2024, his AFCADs would be very lovely. Those and something to improve terminal building textures (as both Zinertek and REX did for FSX and P3D).

Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. Running P3D v5.4 (with v4.5 scenery objects as an additional library, just in case), FSX-SE, MSFS2020, MSFS2024 and even FS9! Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Sometimes all I can do is just shake my head. Airports are an aircraft's home. Aviation would be so boring without airports, especially the ones that have been enhanced by talented flightsim developers.

I'm looking forward to this latest airport, but only if it's sold outside of the ORBX platform.

Here are some new images of Atlanta. They are now expecting release by the end of the month. Seems like I’ve heard this somewhere before, lol. Anyways, it is looking really good.

Looking forward to the release. Lets hope the performance is decent since this is probably one of the most complex airport add-ons to model, especially when AI traffic is added.🤞

I just added the 15th to my calendar. 😀

looks great.  Are they missing the triangle 3 way gate numbers on each jetway?  Hard to say from these shots.

Not going for the hype. If it's great then I'll consider, but if it's no better than what I already have, then it's all hype.

I would be surprised if it is not considerably better than anything else available. I mean, how many super detailed versions of this airport do we have?

I'm using the Imagine version and it suites me quite well. Very happy with the performance and the modelling.

It's apparently 10GB.

That's another reason why I choose to buy at the Marketplace. Streaming takes up very little space on my SSD.

I'm of the belief that the handcrafted version is better than the imaginesim version. Based on the pictures of this new version I can't for the life of me how you guys somehow do not see it being a massive improvement. Of course the true sell will come down to its performance. But assuming it's good, this will render the other ATL versions obsolete. I probably fly in and out of ATL 50-70 times a year in real life. So I will appreciate it for sure.
