ATR 72 MSFS 2024 - AAU 4

In the aircraft EFB, I've remembered to untick the 'Use MSFS2024 Flightplan' box and am now trying to log into my Simbrief account on the 'Flightplan' screen. The numerical pad pop up is opening for entering Pilot ID and I can use to put in my 6-digit pilot ID...but the Enter button on the pop up doesn't seem to work. When I put the cursor hand over the Enter pad, it is the back arrow that lights up. Clicking on the 'Enter' pad just closes the pop up and when I reopen, my unentered Pilot ID is still there and still no access to my Simbrief plans.

I've tried the other variants and rebooted the sim and the PC but it remains the same

Any clue?

I have the same issue with the enter button, but Import OFP still worked for me after clicking it.

    Better delayed than released broken.

I keep spamming the refresh on this topic. The ATR is one of my favourite aircraft - but slightly broken in MSFS. Like a previous poster, I'd rather it was all fixed than rushed out half-baked. I hope

Hmmm...I've tried a number of times - especially when I confirmed that the config file does have my correct Simbrief ID.

I will try again in a few days but in the meantime just load the MCDU manually so at least I can try to fly it 🙂

my simbrief integration is working fine, make sure you use your ID (numbers) and not your username.

I was having issues with the prop brk but then realized the gust lock was off, after engaging everything was fine.

I am about to make my first flight.

MSFS 2020 and 2024

did a quick test. looks a lot better. only issue is the reflections in the cockpit windows. How can they approve that? Let's hope someone can make a fix for this on flightsim.to

Flight model feels pretty good now. Always found hand flying and landings disappointing previously.

currently doing LFVP-CYUL

Got to FL220 fine, but I can't see to reach cruise speed, stuck hovering around 15 knots below it.

PROG page ETA is way off, saying it's going to take 16 hours to get to CYUL, but my TOD ETA seems to be correct.

FPLN Page won't show any EFOB, but the ETAs appears to be correct.

You know this reproduces the effect in the real aircraft cockpit, right?

Perhaps if there is a fix for MSFS 2024, the same could be offered to the real world ATR aircraft builders too... Professional pilots would certainly appreciate it.🙂

I’ve only had a quick look at the exterior in the cargo version. But I can’t find the clickspot to close the cargo bay door. How to do it?

Update: I've just discorvered that it is possible to close cargo door from the Aircraft section of the ATR EFB.

Dude I cannot believe that reflection stuff is the same in real life. It just looks like a repetitive image. If you look at the msfs forum so Reflection at the cockpit window is crazy. Share pls if this is normal.

Hey Gang. Anybody knows how to get the ND needle to align with ILS 1 and 2? I keep getting APP Inhibit whenever I try to shoot and ILS approach and I think its cause the ND mode is not aligning with the ILS even though the right frequency is entered. This plane still needs work.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

I'm having odd starting issues at the moment. I register NH rotation but I get no light off. Plenty of fuel, fuel pump is on and condition lever to FTR at 15% NH. I did get a random start earlier on but then on shutdown the ITT stayed at the same temp. No NH indicated but the prop was turning. Odd.
Any ideas?

Cheers

Steve Hall

turning on the gust lock first allows the prop brake to turn on, but now I can't turn it off even with gust lock off

Edit: Got it, you have to tap the HYD Aux pump button, not hold it.

Update: Engines start with condition levers in the Fuel cutoff position??? Which makes it impossible to shut them down. Odd.

SOLVED: Was using a 3rd party airport that apparently isn't compatible with MSFS 24

Is anyone missing approaches in this thing? Trying to fly to KMYR and the ATR has NO approaches and NO runways. Checked Navigraph and the sim is updated. Ugh.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
