To be honest yes, we have 4 reserved voice packs just for in-flight events. Those will be there, we're not gonna move them, but when you start the launcher you can download new voice packs to use for captain and flight attendant PAs. Those are the ones we're gonna move.

But that 4 reserved ones need to stay where they are. But if you really wanna move them, we have couple days ahead, i can pass it to the dev team. So, should we move them also?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this up. This is genuinely useful feedback. We’ve tried to be open here about the payment provider situation we had to deal with right after release, and

Ah right, that makes sense Anil.

No, leave the reserved voices/audio where they are, please.

Giving the option to store the D/L'd ones where the user wants them would be good.

Cheers.

Ok deal. Only downloaded ones will be moved to a folder that user wants.

Hello Caps,

A short update from us. SimPassengers v1.1.4 is now live, with three new features that came directly from your feedback over the past few weeks, plus a few quality of life fixes along the way. All existing flight logs, licenses, and settings carry over without you doing anything.

Voice Pack Folder. You can now choose where downloaded captain and flight attendant voice packs live on your drive. Open the Launcher's Settings page, pick a folder, and SimPassengers will move your existing voices over for you in one click. Every future download will land in the same place. Useful if your install drive is short on space, or if you simply prefer to keep large audio assets on a secondary disk. The two built-in passenger voices that ship with the installer stay where they are and are never touched.

Position override. Some study level aircraft addons report a stale location during a cold start. The result is a "Wrong Position" message on the panel even though you are clearly at the right airport. This release fixes the user experience around that situation. The panel waits until the bridge is confident the reading has stabilized, then gives you a clear Start Anyway confirmation alongside a Cancel option. You tell SimPassengers where you really are and the flight begins. No leaving the cockpit, no restarting your simulator, no fighting with the addon.

GSX 4.0 multi-currency receipts. GSX Pro 4.0 generates ground handling, fuel, and catering invoices in the local currency of the airport you are operating from. From this release onward, EUR, GBP, TRY, and other regional currencies all flow into your SimPassengers flight log exactly as written on the receipt, with the symbol preserved. No more missing fuel or catering line items on European or Turkish or American operations.

We also tightened the Launcher to Bridge session handshake, so the "Please log in" message you may have seen after updates or after long idle sessions should be far less common. The panel and launcher contact email is now [email protected]. And the panel shows a brief Checking your position state while the bridge confirms your position before each flight, instead of jumping to errors prematurely.

After updating, please restart Microsoft Flight Simulator once so the new bridge takes over from the previous version. Your launcher needs no further attention. Ohhhh! Not to forget, please logout of launcher and log back in, it's the best practice since we've changed the auth logic.

Thanks again to everyone who has been reporting edge cases, suggesting ideas, and testing early builds. v1.1.4 would not exist without you. Keep the feedback coming.

Blue Skies...

/Anil
