May 21May 21 So far,I've used the new live feature for a few days and theres good and bad.The good, obviously live data, however, the bad, the program has a hard time matching planes with paints for example, the program is confused on what Sun Country flight is operated by Prime air or a regular sun country passenger flight. I saw a SCX 737-800 in the sim headed to Lakeland, however, it was a SCX passenger 737-800 and not a prime air 737-800 which it was supposed to be. I also saw two westjet flights, but they were both in "cargo" paint and not passenger per the real life. The live feature also seems to struggle with figuring out the difference between a 319-320/321 neo. I saw a few united flights that were supposed to have been 319-320 and they were all 321 neos.Im hoping they can get it figured out, I would like to use the live feature, especially for seasons that AIG plans dont cover (I.E winter but AIG plans are summer) so we can see different routes, but for me right now, after the trial is over, i wont be paying until this is figured out.Im using AIG paints and models. May 21May 21 My system is very similar to yours, except I fly in Quest 3 VR. How did you find the performance impact compared to other AI traffic options you have used? Does it induce stutters or long frames on approach and while taxiing. How fluid is the movement of the AI traffic (I have BATC and find the movement quite jerky compared to MSFS default live traffic).I definitely need to do more testing. This was my very first flight with the new feature. I did not notice any measurable difference in performance (this also depends heavily on the amount of traffic you opt to inject but also on the complexity of the scenery and add-on aircraft you use).I did not see any long frames or stutters on approach or taxiing around. I did notice the sound (comms) from the ATC and the AI injected traffic cut out and come back after about 1 second. It didn't miss any words as such just a verbal "stutter" every now and again. That may be something I need to tune (prioritize?) on my computer. To be honest I wasn't really looking at fluidity of the AI traffic but from what I can recall it seemed fine. One thing I did notice was an aircraft turning on a dime after its push was completed.Danthepilot's post is interesting as he's had more time with the programme and has pointed out some shortcomings but I'd be amazed if a newly introduced feature got everything right out of the gate.If you already use FSHUD it's a no-brainer to download and use the Traffic app for a week and then decide if you want to pay the subscription fee or not. US$2.99 (or AU$4.08 for me) seems like a reasonable amount that would also go towards helping the devs improve the offering. On the other hand, if you're not really bothered about "real time" traffic, plain vanilla FSHUD is fine.An interesting feature is the option one gets for having the app inject Zulu time traffic or sim time traffic. Yesterday at 04:44 AM1 day I have been using the historical option more than the live one, because most of my sim time is late evening. If I load European live traffic at that hour, many airports are naturally much quieter than I want for an airline flight. With FSHud Traffic I can move it back to an earlier part of the same day and get the daytime departure/arrival flow instead. I checked a few airports against the FlightRadar24 history view and the traffic was close enough for sim use, certainly enough to make the airport feel like it was operating in a real busy period. It does not mean every livery or aircraft subtype will be perfect, but the time-shifted traffic is a very useful feature if you cannot usually fly during the busy real-world hours.

Interesting.FSHud_Admin — 6/2/2026 3:39 PMTuesday, June 2, 2026 3:39 PMNavigraph / Flightradar24 Traffic Integration UpdateAfter reviewing the new Navigraph / Flightradar24 real-world traffic integration, we have decided not to integrate Navigraph / Flightradar24 traffic into FSHud - Air Traffic Control.Navigraph / Flightradar24 provides real-world live traffic based on aircraft that are currently active and transmitting tracking data. If an aircraft is powered off or not transmitting, it is not included in this live traffic data. This type of live traffic already exists in Microsoft Flight Simulator through the built-in MSFS Live Traffic option.FSHud - Air Traffic Control can already use this type of traffic through the existing MSFS-Controlled Traffic interception. To configure MSFS Live Traffic interception, follow the guide below:https://www.fshud.com/site/knowledge/traffic-settings-v2As live-traffic sources, both MSFS Live Traffic and Navigraph / Flightradar24 traffic are limited to aircraft that are currently active in the real world. They do not provide schedule-based airport activity, such as parked aircraft, planned departures, or continuity from arrival to the next scheduled departure.FSHud - Traffic works differently. It provides a more complete traffic solution using both live flights and scheduled flight data. This includes airborne traffic from live and scheduled flights, scheduled airport departures and arrivals, as well as parked aircraft with departure times and destinations based on airport schedules.Hourly traffic snapshots are also stored, allowing live and scheduled flights to be provided for the selected Simulator Time.Happy flights!
