Had an update to MSFS2024 this morning which said restart MSFS to install. Restarted and still seem to be on version 1.7.27.0

I was assuming that this was the official release of the Update 5.1 Beta version 1.7.28.0 but now not sure what the update was as I could find nothing on the oficial forum or within the application.

I'm been using 2024 (multiple restarts) since 7am this morning (UK too) and haven't had any update, if that helps.

Well that's odd. I certainly wasn't expecting an update and have no idea what it was -will have to wait and see if anyone else got it.

There was also a small update for the FSLTL injector for those of us who still use it.

Wouldn’t call it a “small” update. FSLTL is now partnered with Navigraph which is now partnered with FlightRadar24.

No MSFS2024 update here (PC)... Still in Beta 5.1 1.7.28.0

That's an update to FSLTL and the FBW installer potentially as well but is separate from any MSFS2024 update OP is talking about.

Anyone have any idea why I seem to be the only one to open MSFS2024 yesterday and it requested a restart for a small update. Could there be a specific cause that just afected my MSFS installation and nobody else?

Everything is working fine BTW - just a bit confused.

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps somehow you inadvertently lost a couple of files (config files maybe), and that MSFS identified this on launch and updated to replace them.

Do you have a streamed version of MSFS2024 or downloaded version on your drive? Because maybe if you have the downloaded version could be some files that needs to be updated, other than that I also have no idea.

I'm on 1.17.32.0 (beta). Better stability than the release version. No brief pauses when approaching a landing, or taxiing later to parking. No issues when panning in cockpit or outside view. I'm locked at 50 fps. and never see under 49, even for a second.

Notes for 1.17.32.0 say :

" Improved handling of texture mip streaming quality during high memory pressure conditions.

Improved terrain degradation when memory is getting low. "

I was using it for several hours this morning as well. Then took a break, and when I went back, got an update, aprrox. 2.2gb

Also, me. MSFS has never been so smooth, although this is only a little better than yesterday's version.

i just had a 2.1 GB update when starting MSFS2024. 1.7.32.0....

• Mission availability times now take runway lighting systems at both the departure and arrival airports into account, allowing missions to start or end at night when adequate lighting is available.

• Fixed attenuation factors being calculated with a one frame delay for legacy sounds (based on WAV files)

WASM API

• Fixed base address for virtual allocations of WASM modules linear memory on PS5 (avoids crash with the Aerostar 600)
