10 hours ago10 hr Only one flight. Impressive traffic so far. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
9 hours ago9 hr Did some testing yesterday. First, the new live traffic version is very smooth. No jerky movements in the air or on the ground. The takeoffs and landings just looked very realistic. I spawned into an airport which had a lot going on, and it didn’t need to wake up. My FPS was excellent. I never noticed any stutters, and there wasn’t any extra time needed to load live traffic. The immersion really jumped with this version. Good job. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
8 hours ago8 hr We really need historical IRL traffic, like 24-hrs archive dataset, similar to MSFS2024 weather. My workday typically ends at 7pm ET and my free-time starts at 8pm ET, i.e. it's a final wave of departures on the East Cost, a bit of activity on the West, and zero activity in Europe, where I love to fly the most.I understand that implementation of such archive might be both costly and lengthy, but the whole idea of Live Traffic is only suitable for people with unlimited amount of free time, and they are a minority. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

The only data we receive is live data, and we are naturally not permitted to store it.The reason we have access to live data at all is due to Navigraph's partnership with FlightRadar24. Without that partnership, providing live traffic data would be prohibitively expensive for a $30 add-on.For that reason, we will continue to maintain the historical dataset and update it whenever possible. Because we don't want people to have a subscription to use BeyondATC and because we want to provide good traffic data for those that usually don't fly real time. Also, if I just want to use BATC for AI traffic injection, i can just ignore the ATC part for my flights correct? I do the same with FSHUD, i only use FSHUD for AI injection and I dont touch the ATC aspect.

The snapshot is a reasonable alternative that works really well. And since it will keep receiving updates (I kind of hope they can make this bi-anually since the Winter Schedule is now really old), it is always an alternative when one can't fly live and real time.25 minutes ago, Danthepilot77 said:Also, one final BATC question, if i dont want premium characters, its a ONE time $30 purchase correct?Yes.But what is the point in paying $30 if you only use the traffic injection portion? You can simply use FSTL then and have a free injector. Edited 8 hours ago8 hr by Farlis

I do the same with FSHUD, i only use FSHUD for AI injection and I dont touch the ATC aspect.I think FSHud is the better option if you are just wanting it for traffic injection. With BATC, it will not load any AI traffic until you have provided a SimBrief flight plan, and even then I believe, but am not 100% sure, that it may only inject traffic along your planned route. By comparison, FSHud will inject traffic wherever you are, even without a flight plan. It will also control that injected traffic so that it behaves in a realistic manner, which is something even FSLTL cannot do since MSFS 2024 takes control of its injected traffic. FSHud also lets you listen to ATC interacting with all of the injected traffic across a list of various frequencies from around the area you are flying, which BATC does not provide unless you are actively interacting with the ATC itself. On top of that, FSHud displays all AI traffic on a map, including speed and altitude. For those reasons I think FSHud is worth the money just for its ability to provide immersive traffic injection along with meaningful ATC chatter, even if you choose not to interact with the ATC itself. Why would I expect otherwise? There's no Spirit in live traffic, not evne for the parked ones. Devs have made sure that all defunct airlines are filtered out from ther parking spots if live traffic is active. Only with scheduled traffic you get Spirit (as it was still alive in 2025) For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I am fine with injecting scheduled traffic into FSHud using AIGTC. Works great for me and gives me more traffic that the BATC scheduled traffic injection does even with max settings. It also performs smoother fo me. I tried the new FSHud live traffic injector a few times and did see some flights that where also on FR24, but as FSHud takes control of all injected traffic they are not in their actual real time locations. This will be the same as BATC if it is indeed managing the realtime traffic as part of its overall ATC system. I have not tried BATC live traffic injection as I do not maintain a Navigraph subscription year round.
