Hello Captains,

For the past several months, our team at ACE Solutions has been quietly working on what has become the most ambitious aviation project we've ever undertaken.

Our goal was never to build "just another ATC addon."

From day one, we wanted to create an environment where aviation feels alive.

A place where IFR and VFR traffic coexist naturally, where aircraft can operate simultaneously in complex airspace, where parallel runway operations, go-arounds, realistic taxi routing, controller decision making, CPDLC communication, voice interaction, and text interaction all function as parts of the same ecosystem.

During recent testing, we've successfully conducted complex multi-runway arrival scenarios involving large volumes of traffic while maintaining realistic separation, ground movement, and airport operations.

One area we've focused on extensively is conversational flexibility.

While large language models have opened exciting possibilities for ATC simulation, we believe realism requires more than restricting an AI to a predefined set of responses.

Real-world controllers and pilots don't operate from a script.

Our objective is not to build an AI that simply waits for the "correct phrase."

Our objective is to build an AI that understands aviation.

To support that vision, the project is being developed not only by software engineers and flight simulation enthusiasts, but also with ongoing feedback from active aviation professionals and commercial airline pilots.

Aviation is ultimately about people.

And over the last few weeks, we've had the privilege of speaking with individuals whose voices many long-time aviation enthusiasts would recognize immediately.

That's all we're going to say about that... for now.

We're approaching internal beta testing and, if everything continues according to plan, we'll begin sharing screenshots, videos, demonstrations, and technical deep-dives in the near future.

There is still a lot of work ahead.

But after months of development, testing, redesigning, debugging, arguing, redesigning again, and countless late nights, we finally feel comfortable saying:

This is real and it's coming!

And we're excited to start sharing it with the community very soon.

I appreciate that this is probably beyond the scope of your new software, but.......does it also improve the animation of the AI planes during taxi/departure/arrival?

I'll pop back when there's something to demonstrate, beyond hyper-marketing terms and high tech terminology.

I hope you understand that my point is not a general whine / negativity. Anyone can claim they have "made something really different" that doesn't involve the usual weaknesses that we see, in AI-based ATC programs like Say Intentions. The SI guys are hugely into hyper-marketing and have made similar promises (and their AI solution is not limited to LLM either).

The reality is often strikingly different to the promises.

So personally, I just don't rate a promotional post that says "we're making something really special... but that's all we're going to say about that right now" (Forest Gump ™). Everyone who is doing AI at the moment seems carried away with their own grandure, and are convinced that they've found a way to do something that no-one else has. Where are these jaw-dropping solutions? I just see lots of AI-mediocrity.

As I said, I will view with enthusiasm when you have something to show us.

Agreed. When it's ready, post it here, show a video, let us download and play with it. I'm on both sides of this now - as a user plus someone developing an app(ffb-bridge, ffb-probe, not linking cause it's not relevant here, but just FYI in case you're interested).

I know how tempting it is to really go hard on the teasers, but as a user.. I want to SEE and USE something (preferably free and privacy-respecting).

Good luck with your app, I'm hoping it's good.. but please, do post something more of substance when it's actually ready.

I agree, you have to show some more then only saying it will be the best or something special. Until that time I just wait and see with popcorn.

Hahahahha! You really really made my day. Promises huh (: I think we've passed that point by releasing SimPassengers and supporting it with all our forces. That's why "Promises promises" may be a phrase for other developers but not for us, no I'm not buying that.

What hurts me more is the easter-egg you guys didn't event found it hidden in the post. I guess you didn't even read the whole post. If you have read it, the possible reply would be like "Omg with who?"

I'm not making marketing in here, do you see any photos, any screenshots, any videos, any super duper created simulator videos? I guess not!

This is only a post with an easter egg in it and a software which is about to be in beta testing phase. So I recommend you to read my post again and try to find that easter egg,

Sir yes sir! We have completely redesigned the movement engine of the simulator. We're not even using a single line of MSFS2024 code for moving the traffic around. The turns are smooth, aircrafts are flaring correctly even crosswinds are visible too.

The level of quality is our main purpose. No arcade stuff, real aviation stuff running on our computers.

Give the man a chance, it sounds promising, best wishes for this new ATC program, when more information may be available, for sure I may buy this.

I would have preferred that Sim Passengers was finished first... But best of luck!

Are developers from former Microsoft Aces Game studios involved in this project?

If you can make the landing gear visible (I know this isn't ATC's problem) and not have planes slam into the runway and disappear in 2026 for less than $20 a month, I'm interested.

You have the wrong attitude for someone trying to sell something soon. There's a dose of arrogance there.

I didn't miss your "Easter Egg" - I just wasn't interested in whatever 'celebrity' you're alluding to.

Remember what we've all told you here (not that you're hearing the feedback) - we're not interested in promises, marketing or celebrity aviators..... we're only interested in a real product.

That said, as the Dragons in Dragon's Den would say - I'm out. People buy people and I don't like your unprofessional, silly defensive reaction to genuine feedback. I feel like I'm dealing with an ego that would put Brian from SI to shame!
