I guess I'm lucky, I haven't really been burned over the last 30 years or so of this hobby, so I'm not hyper-jaded. Sounds like many have. I feel bad for those who have been.

In a perfect world, Asobo/MS would be working on something like this as part of the core sim - a rewrite of that 60% ATC we now have. Something that hooked seamlessly into the sim without all the Simconnect burps and sideline code running outside of the sim like all these 3rd party products.

In some ways I'm excited if something like this is really a thing, in other ways I'm sad, because if it is what it says it is, it is just one more disincentive for Asobo/MS to fix the in sim ATC...something I feel I already paid for and shouldn't have to pay for again with another add on.

P.S. Just turned 69 the other day and I guess too senile to figure out the hidden "Easter Egg". lol

Not sure why everyone takes everything written (not just by OP) so serious, I'll admit, I have low expectations as we all probably do, but I'm not going to shoot the guy down immediately because we haven't seen anything and criticise him straight from the off. Sometimes if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all and just because you don't like what you have read doesn't mean others do.

OP just needs to keep his head down and focus on making a good product and let videos and photos do the talking in due course and all will be well and wish them the best for the sake of a better flight sim experience. At the end of the day OP has nothing to sell yet and no one here is committed to buy or use anything, so why not just wish him them the best.

First of all, thank you to everyone who took the time to comment, whether you're excited, skeptical, curious, or simply here for the popcorn. 😄

To be honest, I understand the skepticism. Flight simulation has seen its fair share of big promises over the years, and people have every right to wait for something tangible before getting excited.

At the same time, I think it's important to remember that this thread is just a teaser. We're not selling anything today, we're not asking anyone to pre-order anything, and we're certainly not asking anyone to take our word for it.

What matters is the software itself.

If we fail to deliver, then every criticism in this thread will have been justified.
If we succeed, then the videos, demonstrations, beta testing, and eventually the product itself will speak far louder than anything I could write here.
For now, we're going back to work. Thanks again for all the feedback, the support, the skepticism, and yes... even the detective work. 😄

One thing I will admit...

"Promises, promises" might actually be one of the best pieces of marketing feedback we've received so far. 😄
We'll see if it survives the next meeting with the marketing team.

Until then, back to building.

I was speaking in relation to the other users in the thread who expressed the same sentiment as me. I would have thought that was obvious 🤨 Of course I'm not speaking for everyone. There are those blissfully untarnished by repeated failures to deliver on AI products that are different and not like all the rest and all of the other hyperbole. Based on the OPs other product release, I simply don't believe this will be a game changer as it's being presented by him (and with zero evidence that his claims are anything more than words). Should that evidence arrive, I will take back everything and reflect on my lack of faith 😉

June 2nd. Same 69. As long as I don't look in a mirror I still think I'm a lot younger!
