FS Lighting.............

Recommended Posts

Guest hawaiian_flyer

Is it possible to ever create custom lights for the Aircraft. GMAX or FSDS2? I mean, unsynchronized is cool, but have you ever watched the real planes? Example: The DC-10.........we got the double strobes down, almost, applaud FFG for that. The beacons.................ever watch them apples? How i saw it. The bottom one blinks by itselft, then the next the top joins it.....then back to only the bottom. So the top beacon blinks every other sequence. I hope im not confusing you..........and I dont mean to dis any person/designer.....im just curious. So, is there a way to make customs? Colors and all. Thanks a whole bunch!Aloha!

Yes, the same way that MS does it.Clone/copy the fx files, change the timing using notepad, and save as your own names. Update your aircraft.cfg to use these in the Lights section.Milton
