Help with XML gauge night lighting...

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hello Helpers:I have some great XML freeware gauges that I want to use in my first attempt at panel building. The problem is that not all of them light up at night when the panel lighting is turned on. I know zero about XML programing. I'm using FS Panel Studio; therefore, I can open the coding, but this is as far as I can go. I'm reading the SDK and opening some other XML gauges that do light at night, but can really use some first hand help. Is there anyone that can offer help in this area? THX...Jan :-hmmm

Hallo, Frather Bill teached us:Make a switch (on/off) called say "nightlight"; do the bitmaps yourself: (L:nightlight, bool)Nightlight Switch (L:nightlight, bool) ! (>L:nightlight, bool)The same way make a Test Gauge: (L:Test, bool)Test Switch (L:Test, bool) ! (>L:Test, bool)Place the gauges somewhere on your panel (panel.cfg).Look in FS if the gauges are working! Now change the Test gauge as follows: (L:Test, bool) (L:nightlight, bool) (L:Test, bool)Test Switch (L:Test, bool) ! (>L:Test, bool)And test again in FS at night. If you did right, you 'll see the difference!.If you like it, do the same with all your gauges.Jan"Procul Negotiis"
