NetPipes and current aircraft position

After reading all of this and more review of NetPipes, it has been decided to go with FSUIPC. I'd like to thank everyone for their input. I'll keep looking into NetPipes and if I uncover anything, I'll be sure to post it here. Thanks again.Jim

Hey John, that "skeleton module" you sent me is turning out to be very interesting! I've managed to get it working, such that it gets loaded when FS starts, and has complete access to all data elements defined in the Panels and Guages SDK. I'm planning on developing it further, basically as an alternative to FSUIPC. Should have something ready for beta-testing this week or next. There are a few areas where it will provide less access than FSUIPC, such as no access to weather or AI information. However, the method of data access is fully conformant to the Panels and Guages SDK, so as long as MS doesn't make any major changes there, this module should work with future versions of MS with no alteration required!I'll keep you all posted.Russ Dirks

I am also very interested in the code of this module, as I'd like to develop an FS module as well (loaded into FS at run-time).Can you please send me the code you have already sent? Here is my e-mail address: emarciano@free.frEric
