The 208 and the King Air are both turbo-props,,, the propsetting must be set to min pitch as is done in real life unless in king air where taxiing is done sometimes at where one engine is at beta zero and the other engine in flight..1 command is: CTRL + F1 which will set the prop to ground idle. Anyway both aircraft have throttle quadrants where the the pitch can be set via the mouse. GREEN BAY PACKERS][/i :-ukliam :-beerchug

>>The problem is "spikes" coming from your controller into>the>>sim when it's being polled.>>>>Use the "remove spikes" option in FSUIPC to fix.>where abouts is the remove spikes in the fsuipc? You'll find it on the "Technical Tab" in the upper left corner of the dialogue box.Additionally, you need to use the "Joystick Tab" to SET the min and max values for the throttle. If you watch the box that displays the actual polled value, you'll see it "spiking" (rapid fluctuations in polled value). What FSUIPC does is take filter out the spikes and send a stable value to FS2k2. Think of it this way...If you were to sit at a traffic light and "pump the gas pedal" on your car, what will happen?Prop engines in FS2k2 won't react to these spikes in FS2k2, but with turbine engines, the effect of the spikes is to keep the turbine "spooled up" to a higher torque %'age than proper for ground idle conditions. In fact, the actual torque % may be as much as 5% to 10% too high! That is why your turbo a/c are "creeping" instead of sitting politely still. Of course, this is assuming that you have the Condition lever set for ground idle also! :)BillAVSIM OmbudsmanFounder and Director,Creative Recycling of Aircraft Partshttp://catholic-hymns.com/frbill/FS2002/images/fartslogo.jpg
