Is there anyone who can tell me what I should do and what I should not do when making a GMAX model, so that there are no major problems when exporting? Thank you so much.

#1 Thou shalt not use the mirror function from the menu - thou shalt clone, convert to editable mesh and apply a mirror modifier.#2 Thou shalt realize that yes, makemdl.exe is properly installed, and that the error is described in the error log file.#3 Thou shalt learn to weld co-located vertices.#4 Thou shalt make many and frequent backups.#5 Thou shalt learn to lurk the forums and ask questions.#6 Yes there are many "how to" tutorials.Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design

Amen! :-lol very good Felix! I'd like to add... Finish your visual model before you: A.. apply textures B.. Start animations C.. Start the VC D.. Cut out windows and doors I- Get your scale set right before you begin II- Set up a box with the 3 views applied, Do not just use a bitmap in the background. This will solve a whole host of scale and perspective issues III- SEARCH THE FORUMS FIRST... hard to imagine you'll discover a problem not already covered, but sometimes its just too hard to find, so just ask.finally, just have fun!joe
