Where's the PSS forum?

Recommended Posts

Abandoned? Not so, Tom. We had an active forum for the Airbus family (which I have supported for the last 4 years and moderated, at PSS' request, for about 2) and John Rooum has stepped in this year to provide help on Boeings. Yes there was no sight nor sound from a paid PSS person but the forums were still active. So I would be very grateful if you would re-instate them unless of course you have received an instruction from PSS to take them down. I'm sure you haven't, but if you have I think we should be told.Edit:....and access to previous posts please, they are very useful.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

John, I understand and agree. I am more than will to open an "Unofficial Support" forum (but not a half dozen sub forums) if you and others are willing to moderate. I don't want PSS users to go without help either, but anything done now will have to be unofficial and through the efforts of folks like you. If you agree to that John, I will happily reopen the main PSS forum.

Rob, I will happily re-open the PSS main forum as an Unofficial Support forum and move it location outside of the commercial forums area. But, I will only do so if you take on the moderator role for the forum. If you are willing to do that, I will reopen the main forum in a heartbeat.

TomI had just drafted this to Eric,"An interesting idea. Several months ago PSS asked me to put together a PSS Boeing "Read First and FAQ" to be used as a sticky on the forum. I completed it and passed it to Stev C and it was never heard of again. I guess it was "lost" during problems PSS had over the summer. If this is really the demise of PSS, I would be glad to make it available."Very happy to join Rob and help out.John R

I did an Airbus FAQ as well which also vanished into thin air. I think one of the first things we will do on the new shiny forum is perhaps to put these FAQs up as stickies (?)Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Excellent idea. You now have the ability to do that. Please let me know in PM who else you would like to have help you as mod. Okay, I now going to lock this thread.
