GMax model export in FS2004???

Recommended Posts

Hi,I have FS2004, I have GMax, and I have the MakeMDL.exe from the FS insider website. Now what?I tried to export something to test it, but get no options to export anything other than a Plasma 3D object. Is the SDK working for FS2004?If so what other bits do I need to download to get it to work.Has anyone exported from GMax into FS2004 yet?CheersStuntie.

You STILL need (at this time) the converter dle from FS2002Pro to convert the gmax model so that makemdl.exe can recognize and make it into an MDL.It is expected that Microsoft will issue an FS9 SDK and include the "new" converter.gmax + makemdl alone does not create a flyable airplane.Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design

I have FS2002 standard, so I can't copy the dll over.Is it available elsewhere as part of an SDK?

Not yet - that I know of. That's what we're waiting for Microsoft to release.>I have FS2002 standard, so I can't copy the dll over.>>Is it available elsewhere as part of an SDK?>>Felix/FFDSPegasus Aviation Design
