Question: Airfoil for the DC-9-41...

Hi,I'm looking for airfoil data on the DC-9-41.Root = DSMA-433A/-434ATip = DSMA-435A/-436AI can't locate them anywhere on the net.Please help!Thanks,John

Those McDonnell-Douglas airfoil info and pictures are difficult to find on the internet. The only pictures of DSMA's you'll likely find are DSMA 523 a and B, a transonic airfoil which don't look much like DSMA's 433-436.

DSMA - Douglas Santa Monica Airfoil - Douglas Aircraft - McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft - now Boeing AircraftThese airfoils are Company proprietary information not generally available to the public.You can try searching the web for "Airfoil" and see what comes up!W. Sieffert

I'm using the "Flight Model Workbook" by %1 to model a DC-9-41 and would love to get the root and tip airfoil data for this airplane.Is there an equivalent airfoil data package that is publicly available?Thanks,John
