Dynamic Shine in GMAX help!

Recommended Posts

Greets guys, this post is for a fellow designer that is having a hard time with the dynamic shine. He is a very talented guy and has picked up GMAX and 3D design rather fast, but this has been his roadblock and I fear that if he doesn't get it figured out, that he might give up design alltogether. If anyone can help with this I am sure the community will appreciate it very much!!Here is the link to his site and email, hope someone has some ideas. Thanks!!http://w1.463.comhem.se/~u46307171/helo/index.htmRegards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com

You NEED Middleman and MDLcommander. I used to do it long hand through the x file... thats for the birds. They do all the work for you by intercepting the x file and fixing the bug. I noticed i can get a nice color change by adjusting the diffuse color, the specular color slot seems to have little or no effect.of course i havent read the docs :)but its hands off, and real easy. setting the level is easy enough but at the same time hard to get the coverage you like. It will expose bad looking mesh.here's my first test results with it.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/37483.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/37485.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/37486.jpggot the links?joe
