FS Edit

Hi,Does anyone know where to get some help with FS EDit & FS2002Pro please?The help file is not very useful.Thanks.Keith

Some would say, "Stay away from the FS2002Pro version of FSEdit!. That being said, if you use the FS2002Pro version of FSEdit, you also need to use AirEd152 to remove or recalibrate about 8 entries added at the end of the *.air file. If you don't remove or recalibrate these entries, the aircraft will perform poorly.The FS2004 version of FSEdit has been improved or corrected these entries. However, other items have been changed as well that may or may not cause aerodynamic problems.I recommend you visit http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/index.html and review/download the vast selection of aerodynamics information.It is easier to discuss a specific problem. Thanks.What I was trying to do was to improve slightly the performance of one of my planes. I had hoped to be able to increase the engine size to represent a larger engine as provided a few years after my plane. The plane is the Bleriot and I wanted to re-create the 1911 machine instead of the 1909 one. The diference was only a slightly larger horsepower engine. The reason? We are thinking of re-creating the 1911 GB air race, which had a number of these planes taking part.I thought I could just increse the figures in FS Edit and retain the existing planes structure and I would get an increase in speed - but not to be!Keith
