Landing lights and the ground effect....

I am nearing completion of my Ta-183 for FS2k4. But the landing light effect shows where I placed it, but I do not get the light "cone" on the ground where the light splashes the terrain. What am I doing wrong? I am using fx_landing as the effect. I copied it from the 737 aircraft.cfg...

What am I doing wrong? I am using fx_landing as the>effect. I copied it from the 737 aircraft.cfg..."Landing Lights" (and "Taxi Lights") must be present in the .mdl file. They are point-source objects with a material named LIGHT_LANDING or LIGHT_TAXI applied. FS will generate the lights at runtime.Search the forum for details on how to model/create LL and TL in FSDS2 or GMax.The .fx files will not show on the ground, but are used to illuminate a "splash" on the model's surface to simulate reflected light from the lamps.
