Adding a gauge/radio?

Well - I have never done this, but I find myself in need. Am flying the beautiful Maule from fsnordic.net, but unfortunately it has no ADF! Remarkable oversight for a bush plane. Flying through the Yukon and Alaska, an ADF is not optional!Is there a quick and easy way to add this to the Virtual Cockpit of the existing plane? I have never done any panel programming, and am not sure I want to get involved in a 50hour learning curve to fix one plane. If it can be done easily, GREAT!!ADVthanksANCE

Hi.In general you have 4 groups of numbers, the first is the X / horizontal placement, Y / Vertical, and the next two are the size / shape, horizontal / vertical. If the last two are not in the proper ratio, with respect to each other and the texture that they are placed on, they can look distorted. Try to change one of the last two numbers, and observe the change. Hi - thanks for the reply.Sorry to be a neuby, but I still don't get it. I downloaded the Microsoft editor 'FSEdit', and have tried to open up the aircraft to get at the panel stuff, but it does not work.Are you getting this stuff in notebook? I guess I need a pointer to a step by step tutorial. What does the 'file=Cessna_etc' line refer to? Is that the name of the file you have open? (ie not panel.cfg)*************************** Cancel request! *******************Got it. Spent some time cutting and pasting using notepad, and now have a working ADF!!Thanks for your help.
