If this is in C++, I recommend you do a forum and web search on FSSound, and Dai Griffith. You can also use DirectSound if you have the DirectX SDK, but it's a little more involved. Both FSSound and DirectSound support the looping of sound buffers.

So kind Etienne.Yes, i know that tutorial, but i've troubles in compiling because of (probably) different version of FS (that tutorial refers to FS98 and FS2002, not to FS9)Have you some source to send me via e-mail as EXAMPLES ?IF you agree you can send me some code to hazon17@hotmail.comThank you again ;-)

Hi,What is the presently used method in gauge sound programming? Earlier it was using FSSound.dll, but I can not even found sd2gau17.zip around the internet nowadays (I lost it from my PC).Are you using DirectSound SDK or another method?Yes, end where is sd2gau17.zip?MODIFICATION:Oh, yes, I am looking for a C SDK, not XML solution. And i would like to be able to change volume while the sound is played.Gabor

sd2gau17.zip is in the same place it's always been:http://www.flightsim.comI use gaugesound.dll, which utilizes DirectX in a very transparent way.
